Waterloo Tan

I went for a quick teeth whitening treatment. They scheduled me In same day without a problem. Much more comfortable process than other teeth whitening places.

Love! This salon is trendy, clean, and convenient. My experience with the staff has been pleasant… I read through the previous Unilocal/​Google reviews on this salon as well as competitors before eventually going to Waterloo and was apprehensive about possible «high-​and-​mighty» attitudes, but I didn’t have that experience at all! The manager and young girl at the desk were both personable, professional, and knowledgable. AND did **NOT** hassle me to buy a lotion! Unbelievable… There were signs posted for 50% off deals and they briefly mentioned a lotion discount if I signed up for a membership, but when I chose to buy 100 points instead (…gasp), I didn’t meet any hesitation or sideways glances at ALL. What a relief!
Some of the other reviews also docked stars for being «pricey». I’ve been to Darque tan before and recently left iTan in California (which was surprisingly affordable, unlike everything else in CA) so I can honestly say it’s not that bad. If you plan on tanning more than twice a week then the membership will save you money, if not then the points system (although in one bulk payment) will save you significantly more. And if you’re spending money on tanning in the first place, you shouldn’t be too picky. I can’t say anything bad about Waterloo and encourage y’all to try it out!

Amazing! I love have a membership here. The salon is always so clean and the girls are friendly. I love the versa spa, I’ve had my teeth whitened, and the formostar !!

I like the place itself but the girls behind the counter could be a lot friendlier and out-​going.

The good:
Everyone here always was pretty pleasant. The owner/​wife are nice. The beds looks pretty new. The biggest plus is they don’t high sale pressure you like I have felt at other salons (with Darque tan now, was with palm beach before and both are bad about this) They had this thing called the hydration station which is something I hadnt seen before. I tried it. Move on to the bad.
I have a scar on my knee from the hydration station. I moved my leg to itch it and got burned. I was not instructed about anything to do with it. Even had to call the girl back to help at one point because I felt like I was just left. Was not told that things inside would be so hot they would burn me. So now I have a scar that kind of looks like a cross.
I never felt like I got tan from the machines. I feel like I was always a lot darker going to Palm Beach. I use Cypher lotion so this isn’t due to some inferior product Im putting on and I have used the same lotion at both places but got dratically different results.
In the end I wanted to love this place. I love the whole idea of family operated but I just wasn’t blown away.

Nicest tanning salon I’ve been to! The staff is always so polite & helpful, they really help make each visit enjoyable. The salon is very clean & inviting, & the beds are great! They even have speakers with an auxiliary cord so you can plug in your phone & listen to your own music while you tan! I love it here, I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else!

I love tanning here! The staff is very nice and the beds are great! I’m an avid tanner (indoor and outdoor) and Waterloo has made me enjoy indoor much more.

Very sexy tanning salon with some of the best prices I have seen. $ 55 a month for sunless tanning. They also have a reverse happy hour for $ 10 off a sunless tanning session. And this month they have a special where you can buy three sessions for $ 50, plus they have a groupon out right now!

I love this place. It is modern, clean, and prices are very comparable with other lesser tanning salons! The Owner and his Staff make you feel welcome and are Very nice and helpful!

Waterloo Tan has great prices and the best beds! There is something for everyone at Waterloo. I don’t tan in the tanning beds anymore, but their VersaSpa is great for getting that sunless tan before a night out. Also their new beauty lounge gives amazing results! The collagen light helps to smooth out wrinkles and makes my skin soft and clear. It also has a vibrating option that is supposed to smooth out cellulite. If you prefer to tan in the UV beds, they have the highest quality beds that I’ve seen. If you live in the Round Rock/​Georgetown area Waterloo Tan is your by far your best option.
