Hillcrest Inn pre Antique Weekend pep talk: Okay team, we’ve got 50,000 people that will come to our town in the next week and a half. I want barrels of sodas, pie slices ready to grab, BBQ and more BBQ on standby. Forks, spoons, knives, thrown in five gallon buckets. Napkins; we just lost another rain forest. Burgers for 15,000 or 20,000 just to be safe.
Honestly I can’t imagine the down time between April and October. Must be mighty quiet in this town. Anywho, my chocolate pecan pie and soda was some much needed fuel in our shopping extravaganza!
Nice little inside dining with an upstairs deck; bathrooms that doubled as a blueprint for Boeing planes. Tiny that is. Think taking a leak and washing your hands at the same time. A nice stop with A/​C for a shopping break during Warrenton weekend
