First time experience was pleasant in Feb 2014. I have to get my eye exam done twice a year due to intracranial hypertension, so I stick with them when I’m back in RH to visit family and friends. Second time experience was alright in Nov 2014, had my eyes check again. So couple months ago I ordered my contact lenses on Walgreen and the order for rejected, I called to ask Harvard they said it’s because the exam I did in Nov 2014 was so glass not for contact lenses. I didn’t know you have to be specific about it, an eye exam is an eye exam, no? Anyway I ended up having to pay $ 20 extra for the contact lenses exam and the lady on the phone convinced me to order it w them instead of Walgreen (which I did). I live in NY full time and they said they will offer free shipping as well, great. Two weeks later, after changing my card, I didn’t get my contact lenses. Called them, they forgot to freaking ship it so I waited another week and finally got my contact lenses in mail. Today, I called them to order another 3-​month supply. Since I’m in town visiting again I can just go pick them up in person. Wrong! The kid on the phone was telling me my prescription expired so I had to go in. I said but I already paid that extra $ 20 you guys asked for few months ago so why would I go in to do another exam when I don’t have to? My prescription shouldn’t expire till Nov 2015. She insisted because I had the glass prescription so that’s that. And she said the total will be $ 200 something because they are giving me a discount to do contact lenses prescription plus 6-​month supply. I said but I never said I want a 6-​month supply! She said well first time customer always have to do 6-​month supply (with an attitude). Uh… Hello… You just went thru my order history and prescription history with me so how am I a first time customer now? Anyway, I told her to forget it. Mark my word. None of my family or friends will ever step foot in this store. Zero star. But Unilocal made me giving them at least one.

One of only few Korean owned Optometric shop near by and that’s what make our family come to this place every time we need eye checked and glasses checked.
Mostly Korean customers and I saw some Chinese as there are lot of them living near this vicinity. Service they provide are fair to good depending on who you deal with but ladies are generally friendlier in my opinion.
Lots of frames to choose from although prices are not the lowest.

Out of all the optometry places (Costco included) Harvard has the best prices. Happy to share the nice female eye doctor who worked only Saturdays now comes in 3x a week!
Tip: if you need delivery they provide it but you need to ask :)

This is the best place that I’ve been to so far. Friendly service and honest. It is funny and naïve for those that are comparing imitated brand via internet over originals… I have nothing but compliments.

The owner called my mom demanding that she tell me to revise or remove my review. This is outrageous. She said she was so offended by the things he said and the way he said it. He didn’t even have the decency to call me directly. It is horrible that he and his employees don’t know how to treat customers with the least amount of respect or decency.

I don’t like to write bad reviews because i know for businesses, there is good times and bad times so i try to understand but i got so irritated on my last visit and decided to write a review. I want to give them 0 star if i can. spent 700 dollars and realized later that i got ripped off. My friend paid half of what i paid of the same exact model here (just the frame). No kidding! I was so upset! No follow ups at all when my glasses were ready. They are only nice to u when u shop, when u are paid in full they don’t even care about u and don’t even say hi or anything when u come back for follow up. The eye exams aren’t accurate here either. I been using glasses for about 15+ yrs now and i never had this but this place told me my eyes are too dried and damaged due to lenses ive been wearing so they cannot do the eye exam on me that i had to wait a week to do it. i was frustrated but decided to wait. I had already paid for my glasses and eye exam but no one was following up. Finally after two weeks i just walked in because i really need to order new pair or lenses. i wasnt happy but kept calmed and told them i came in for my eye exam i had paid for. No one greeted me or anything just told me to wait for my turn. Finally when it was my turn instead of getting examed, She asked me couple questions such as if i had put some eye drops she prescribed me (i did), how many times a day, did i even wear the lenses again– which i told her i did because they were the only contacts i had and i AM getting the eye exam so i can get new pair of lenses. She told me she cant do the eye exam due to condition of my eyes again. How would she know after asking couple of questions only? I was soooooo unhappy and tried to explain and she said u can come on weekdays then there will be different doctor. Wtf??? Seriously? I was pretty upset and i left the place and went to two other places in LA JUST for check ups, just to see if its really my eyes that she cannot exam. Guess what? i got the results from both places and they didn’t have any problem examine my eyes. I lost my money and time by coming here. Hope u don’t!

I’ve been coming here since I first moved to California, so I’ve been coming here for about 10+ years.
They always remind me when I need a check up, and have competitive prices. The staff here is always friendly and always gets my contacts or glasses finished in a timely fashion – I’m always in and out within 10 – 20 minutes.
Even though this business is in a Korean plaza, everyone here does speak English and is very friendly.
I’ll probably be back next week since my insurance will be renewing my «allowance» for contacts, and will be back many more times in the future.

Been coming here for years. First off it’s conveniently located across the street from my place. Staff is wonderful and accommodating, but my favorite thing about this place is that it’s super quick! I can call a few hours in advance to schedule my eye exam, their pricing is comparable to WALMART (trust me I’ve done my research) and is definitely affordable. I needed new glasses right away and I got my frame AND lenses put in on the same day! Walmart said it would take 1 – 2 weeks! (Ain’t nobody got time for that!!) Can’t complain. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Lee is the best
Been going here for 13 years with the family. Get my Oakley Rx glasses at a good price, with great service. They never complain when I stop in for an adjustment, pads, or a cleaning.

I’ve been coming here for a while to get new glasses and sunglasses as well. The staff here are extremely nice and helpful. Mrs. Lee is very sweet and helpful with whatever you need. Definitely recommend this place for those around the area!

I“ve been going here for over 17 years. They gave me my first glasses in 6^th grade, taught me how to put on contacts, etc. I just picked up a pair of glasses today.
The staff here is excellent. They are the most helpful and nicest staff ever. The service is great. I always get my glasses in a timely fashion. The quality of the work is perfect! They have a wide selection of glasses.
Prices: I“ve traveled and lived in many states and they have always given me the best prices.
Even though i’m moving to michigan, I think I’ll continue getting my glasses and contacts here.

A terrible experience, I didn’t think service could be that bad but it can! Went in to buy a pair of $ 200 black Tag Heuer frames. The woman at the counter guaranteed that they could change the lens to prescription sunglasses and that it would take a week. Three weeks later, after endless calls and excuses, they were ready and I came in to pick them up. They showed me the Tag Heuer and I was shocked at how bad they came out.
1. The frames were the WRONG color! It wasn’t black, it was brown. When I told them, they tried to argue with me until I pointed out the black frames behind the counter.
2. The prescription lens were a joke. They actually jiggled in the frames, that’s how badly they fit. They fit so badly, the woman actually «popped» the lens out of the frames and popped it into the black frames.
By this point, I was demanding my money back and the woman behind the counter refused, told me they were custom and that the lens were suppose to fit loosely in the frames. I’m amazed this place does any business at all since they have ridiculously high prices, shoddy products, and flat out lie to customers. AVOID!

I’ve been coming here ever since I was in middle school and I only have good memories. Staff has always been friendly and accomodating.
I just recently came back after 2+ years and they still remember me. I was in and out in less than 30 min!

I have been to Harvard Optometry for over 6 years. Every time I go to get new eyeglasses, sunglasses or contact lenses, my experience has always been A+. I have never made an appointment, and I just walk-​in~! Also they are very helpful and kind in helping you to choose what style glasses you would like. Normally, they would have your glasses ready by the next day or two~ Amazing and awesome staff!
