If you are looking for any sort of counseling services for family help or support this is NOT the place for you. My mother and I came here for counseling services to help us find solutions on how to deal with a troubled family member. Not only did Michael NOT provide any support, he just sat there and barely said anything except stare at us. And when he did speak he started talking about his mother and his relationship with her which had NOTHING to do with our situation. Also the location of the «counseling» was a broom closet in a pharmacy. Not only was it uncomfortably small, but the echo in the room was so loud that everyone in the pharmacy could hear everything you said. If you want patient confidentiality, this is not a good place. It was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate for counseling services. I would NEVER recommend this place or his services to anyone. Save your money.

I went to a live free group session at his rowland heights location about a year ago. What Michael had me see in myself in 2 sessions was remarkable. No judgement. No lecturing. He had me think outside of the usual box for me to see why I was in such pain with the losses I had in my life. Why I felt the way I did… like a misdirection in life. The phrase that I still remember him saying to me is that I am the gift. I am the gift. He had me say that out loud. No apologies. Say it like I mean it. I am the gift.
I listened to a couple of his podcasts today. The monologue about his mom & the podcast about loss. Once again I am reminded how great a life coach he is. I will listen to my inner core child… the one that was so happy with life. Thank you Michael.

Michael had me on a Skype interview for his podcast Heal From the Ground Up! Not only was it fun to be interviewed, he helped me uncover hardships that I had struggled with for many years. Thanks Michael! I would highly suggest that you get in contact with Michael!

Although I have not personally attended a session in person, I have heard his podcast on his website and got so much insight on his practice and found it very helpful. You can tell he really cares for his clients and tries to find the seed and root cause of the problems, not just the external.

I was introduced to Michael Hue through my club. He was the guess speaker. I contacted him for my daughter to help her figure out her life. Little did I know he was brought in to my life to help me see my life and help me understand how I got there but didn’t have to be stuck. He not only help me, but my daughter as well And my husband at the lowest of his life. Brought him back to us. We now can handle anything life throws at us and know people’s fears and hurt are the same. The scenario is the only thing that is different. So now we listen to each other with no judgment just companion.

I want to tell you that Michael Hsu is a great, well rounded practitioner. He seems to intrinsically understand what is going on with you.
In our conversation/​appointment, he hit on some things that brought up some strong feelings for me that had been buried or ignored maybe is a better word. Sometimes — we, ourselves, push problems/​difficulties away and ignore them until they start rearing their ugly heads in other forms in our life. It is hard to get to those things that we «DON’T» want to deal with because they are either too painful, made us feel less than, make us feel like a fool, or because — yep this one is right on — we don’t want to change because we are too comfortable being… well — uncomfortable. Does that make sense? I hope so because in my conversation with Michael he touched on some of those things and yes, at first I was uncomfortable and didn’t think he understood me but — wouldn’t you know, it came to me that —– dammit, I needed to work on those things and it wasn’t a good idea to delay working on them any longer. I appreciate that Michael stayed with the things I didn’t want to deal with and other things that I felt less problems with. I would call it a all encompassing approach from Michael.
Thank you Michael for your incredible insight into my difficulties, the ones I wanted to deal with and the ones I didn’t want to deal with, and thank you for addressing them so eloquently so that I could really «get it.» I appreciate your valuable time.

Let me start things off by saying Michael is amazing and so very helpful. I have been very stressed and needed to do some soul searching and needed some help in fixing some character flaws. In just the first session Michael truly helped me gain a better understanding about myself and helped me realize there are some things in my past I need to fix if I want to continue to move forward. I have only been to one session and can’t wait to see all the progress that will be made by the time we are through. I can’t recommend Michael enough.

Once you start talking to Michael, u feel like you are not talking to a stranger, his is someone you know already. He helped me to have a image of how my childhood is related to my current situation, I was repeating the same pattern. Anyways, when u feel lost or confused and feel lack of self confidence, there must be something related to you childhood, Michael has the ability to letting you to see the root of the problem.

His insight regarding how childhood experiences and patterns can/​may repeat during adulthood is very key to helping anyone acknowledge and learn about where they have been in life =. As well as to help clients become aware of these patterns/​behaviors, so that they can create a new life for their today and for their future.

A good friend referred me to this place. At first I wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do but I did it anyways. I met with Dr. Michael and we talked. We talked about my problems and my discomforts. He wrote down as we talked. When I was all done, he took me to the other side of the room where it looked like a living room. It was a great atmosphere. He really gets to the point. Not only does he try to wean you off your meds he gives you a kind of therapist session. Your normal family doctor just prescribes your meds and say see you, but Michael wants to know where your sickness comes from. He wants to talk to you about your feelings. Your childhood history. Overall he’s great… Really. He cares.

I went in to see Michael a few weeks ago after stumbling across his great reviews on Unilocal.I have been experiencing very troubling conditions regarding my nerves, muscles, hair, and skin for half a year now, and no medical professional has been able to give me a diagnosis or help in any way, despite different blood and physical tests. I figured Michael would find a way or at least have some explanation.
After the free 30 minute phone consultation, he suggested I go in visit him in-​person, which I did the following week after the phone session. I had disclosed a lot about my current life and living situation and it was obvious there was a lot of pressure and negativity I was dealing with. Michael was genuinely concerned and did a lot of questioning to help me try figuring out a path for me (career and interest wise). He was also very active in finding ways for me to confront the source of negativity in my life (something that I’m still having trouble doing).
Despite the caring and heart-​to-​heart manner of his talk, I felt my main reason for going in to see him wasn’t really covered. I had to probe many questions to get responses or ideas from him because he felt the source of all my physical conditions were coming from my environment, when I was pretty sure it was something internal that was either imbalanced or in need of deeper diagnosis. But it was his professional opinion as to what was more important, and I respect that, and furthermore — his healing approach is obviously not like that of a traditional doctor, so I understood. He gave me a health plan with a focus on metal detoxing, with metals being a possible cause of my symptoms.
I’ve been following the plan for 2 weeks or so now, and while I understand detoxing (especially something that may be chronic) takes time, I have not felt any relief in my symptoms. Perhaps I need more time, I don’t know. I feel while Michael may be of great relief to some fatigue-​related symptoms in people (stress, chronic pains, etc), his greatest strength may lie in emotional counseling and the level of attention he puts on his patients’ psychological and emotional well-​being. I’m glad to have met him, but I feel my search for relief needs to continue. I hate to be the one downer star review in the sea of 5-​star ratings, but my rating truly reflects the «A-​OK» rating that Unilocal labels for 3-​stars.
Keep in mind that he doesn’t take insurance, so you will be paying an amount much higher than your normal in-​office co-​pay.

My first session with Michael was amazing. He truly cares about getting to the root of your problems. I was diagnosed this and that by my psychiatrist but Michael doesn’t believe in labels. He treats you for who you really are and digs deep in your history to help you.

I went to Michael was purely based on all the good rating from Unilocal.My thought was it couldn’t go wrong with everyone on Unilocal rating him so good.
After several sessions, you can’t disagreed that Michael is really a gift from God. He does not only understand you but also knows how to custom fit your need. In my case, I was having difficult time with my emotional issues, Michael not only patiently listened to my store plus even offered to talk to my son in order for my to relief some part my of issues from my heart. I really appreciated he doing.
One hint to everyone is pls. don’t judge his young age. He is obviously in his very young age, but with his talent and his willingness, no doubt in my mind that he could help lots of people.

All these 5 stars is NO joke. The one session I had with Michael was incredible. There is a reason why he’s by appointment only… The moment you walk into his office is when everything is about YOU. All attention and efforts goes to helping you feel better. There was no sense of rush. First step of getting better is to realize that there is something wrong and go see help. I am truly thankful that I came across these Unilocal reviews to push me to visit Michael.

Walk in the clinics, 2. fill out health forms, 3. talk about how you feel 4. hr is over, you go home filled with emotions you just talked about feeling super crappy. 5. second visit, talk more about how you feel. It just always felt like I’m only talking about how I feel at the moment. Couldn’t really feel much improvement even through endless talking.
Psychologists: 1. Walk in clinic, 2. fill out health forms 3. briefly talk about how you feel. 4. prescribe you medicine.
On the very first session Michael helped me dig deep down into the root of all my issues, a burden that I put on myself when I was a little girl. Something I haven’t cried so deeply about in 15 years. I dont think I ever cried this much in a first session before, I also never felt so good after the first session. Of course every individual is different and every problem is different, but he truly cares and truly wants to help!
Next session we’re working on my diet and hormones I think. I’m looking forward to it :). I Highly recommends Michael for any problems. He is SO knowledgeable and all the information he presents is very interesting. Only one meeting with him and he is already my inspiration to help others It’s a process of healing I know, and it might take a while… or not :), but I feel good after… I think that’s the most important. I’m so happy and thankful that this Michael Hsu exists. And that there IS hope, for those that feel hope will never exist again.

Michael’s work is a God given talent. As young as Michael seems, he has the wisdom and knowledge that is helping me heal. I’ve gone to doctors for my conditions. I was treated in the hospital for the symptoms but they were merely band aids to my problems. When I went to him, I was only focused on the physical aspect of my conditions. What I didn’t realize that their were other compartments involved that may be contributing to my symptoms such as my diet, hormonal balance and my emotional well-​being. He thoroughly investigates every nook and cranny of your being.
It is so easy to talk to Michael that I feel like I’m talking to a friend. He is also very flexible and will accommodate you based on your personal needs. Meeting with Michael was so beneficial to me, I extended more meetings with him even though he recommended lesser sessions.

Michael came highly recommended from a good friend of mine and he lived up to his reputation! In our very first session, he recommended a few supplements and dietary changes that have completely changed my life. It’s amazing how understanding the way food interacts with our body can help us make the right choices.
Michael is a great listener, very patient, and understanding. He’s easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Don’t let his age fool you. When I first met him, I wondered how he could be a life coach at such a young age but he has lots of experience and knowledge in his field.
Michael really tailors each health plan to the individual needs, wants, and even blood type. He is passionate about delivering the right type of personal care.
My advise is if you are thinking about going to see him… why not go for a consultation. You only lose a hour out of your day, but have emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health to gain ;)
