JCB Refreshments

The spicy turkey sandwich there is really good! And I like their smoothies, very fresh. Just a little bit too sweet for me. Worth a try.

Nice place for a quick meal before going back to school or work. The juices are fresh and always love getting a cup of coffee before going to work. Convenient near my work place and would highly recommend their sandwich if you want something refreshing and healthy.

Pretty good and definitely worth a try! Must go for their smoothies and hot sandwiches. I personally prefer the Go-​Go Green and the Chicken Jalapeño sandwich. I like their friendly service and healthy drinks — I also like that their store appearance looks neat & clean. There usually isn’t a long wait so I got my food pretty fast. This is probably the best HEALTHY drink place in this mall!

I ate JCB Refreshment many times, so I decided to write a review.
Usually I would get their salad and drinks, one word to describe the food: fresh! So fresh, not like other place’s salad or raw juice, seeing yellow, non fresh vegetables, making me don’t even want to eat it.
JCB’s salad has always been fresh. Taste great too!
I highly recommend Strawberry Spinach Chicken salad, Go-​go Green drink, Pesto Chicken sandwich. These are my all time favorite whenever I come to JCB.
I wish they have stamp cards though, then I would come even more often.

The milk tea is really good, had a hint of honey flavor which I really enjoy. However it’s a little pricy. It cost $ 3.95 for a medium size which actually looks like a small and they don’t fill it up all the way either. The smoothies and food look good but I didn’t order because it’s over priced.

I ordered a med mango berry tango smoothie and it was amazing. The girl who took my order was so seeet and helpful. Im definitely going back

Terrible! I paid eight dollars for a medium juice. I figured that it would be really good for that price but when i got it, it was decent, if even that. I would never get anything from here again.

They charged me over 7 dollars for a dinky-​ass cup of juice… I’m talking no more than 12 oz… when my homegirl saw it she was like «Wow that’s the same size as the free water cups McDonalds gives out.» I think she put it as bluntly as needs be put…
Don’t get me wrong, the juice was decent, I like how they give you a create-​your-​own option. All kinds of fruits and vegetables, check their menu. Thing is, you have to pick between 3 and 5 ingredients? I’d prefer to get pure honeydew or watermelon… but whatever… also the midget Hobbit cup they gave me was like ¼th foam. That ain’t cool.
It’s good that they got a fresh juice place in PHM now, but Jamba Juice has always been nearby (5 minute walk from the east entrance) and they’ll give you over 20oz of fresh juice for 8 or 9 bucks… which admittedly, isn’t cheap, but it’s a damn STEAL compared to these mofos… I think 3 stars is being awfully generous. PS: They gotta hire some better-​looking girls to run this joint, if a prospective employee’s got a face that’s depressing to look at then you don’t hire them for any shift before 2am… duh…even 7-​eleven knows that…

I came here about a month ago, but I remember my experience well. The female worker (I’m guessing the boss or person in charge) was yelling at one of the male workers, I think his name was Alfredo. I really felt sorry for the dude for putting up with this lady’s banshee like behavior. He was very polite and kind despite being berated in public by this unpleasant woman. This place needs more people like him and less like this lady. She was really grumpy to the customers before us who ordered smoothies and was rude to us in explaining their coffee promo (small coffee costs more than a medium coffee… umm ok…)
Coffee was brewed fresh, but it took a long time to come out (10+ minutes); this coupled with the bad customer service and the spectacle of watching the poor treatment of the employee, I doubt I will come back. Maybe I’ll wait until this location becomes another coffee shop as it has gone through several iterations for hot beverages and snacks over the years by various owners/​entities.
In the mean time, I recommend Kelly’s Coffee in the lower level of the AMC 20 wing of the Puente Hills Mall for your coffee needs.

ZERO STARS for their macaroons, but since I have not tried any other items off their extensive menu, I will give them an extra star. My first visit was a few weeks back, I wanted to try one of their macaroons and asked for Red Velvet, the girl tells me they were out so I passed.
On to present day. I finally purchased ⁶⁄₁₂ flavors they carried.
CONS:
Refrigerated macaroons that tasted packaged and not freshly made.
The flavors are NOT good. Red velvet tasted like espresso, the raspberry was super heavy and grainy. I actually felt ripped off because for the price that I paid which was over $ 2/​ea, the quality was NOT THERE, not even close!!!
Plus, when I asked the girl if they carried all of the flavors, she rudely tells me in a nonchalant face, «no whatever we have there is what we have»
(When I asked that question, I also meant if they had all of them in stock, hence – my last visit.)
then I asked again because she did not make herself clear…
She then tells me again in a rude tone, «NO what ever we have there is what we have»
Again, she didn’t make herself clear because there were a few things she could have been referring to… Mind you they have all the flavors pictured THERE, they also have 12 samples displayed THERE. They also have 12 displayed there but they could also be out of certain flavors, so which is it???
but, that girl was referring to the physical samples. I had to clarify that for her.
What she should have said was, «sorry, we only carry 12 out of the 20 flavors pictured and they are the samples displayed»
aside from that mishap, I will probably be back to try their fresh juices, but I highly suggest you pass on their macaroons.

I went for the first time a few days ago and it was HORRIBLE. I am not only obsessed with smoothies and juices but I also work in that field too so I know a good place and this is not one of them. They’re were only two people ahead of me and it took them 15 minutes, LITERALLY, to make my drink! What horrible service!!! And on top of that my drink had orange, beet, spinach, ginger. They seem they were not good under pressure it showed big time. I knew when there is ginger in my drink and they failed to put that in but I was so in a rush I left. I could also not taste the Spinach nor did it change color even a bit. Spinach has a strong color to it and I saw no hint of it in my juice. So overall I pay 7 bucks for and Orange and beet juice. What a rip off this place is! I am completely UNSATISFIED.
