This place kind of reminded me of Class 302, except much bigger in space. This place sold the typical Taiwanese snacks and entrée items like Minced Pork over Rice, Stinky Tofu(impressively steamed and fried), Pork Blood Rice Cake and a bunch of other local Taiwanese goods. I came with a party of 6 on Sunday and since the place wasn’t busy there were plenty of big booths that were available. We ordered drinks and for some odd reason it took them an hour to make two drinks, it was a good thing we didn’t have anything planned afterwards and we had time to kill. The service was RIDICKS slow, make sure plan your day accordingly if you decide to come here. The waitresses also seemed new at their jobs as they didn’t know the menu well when my boyfriend ordered a winter melon iced tea, she asked him to point to it on the menu for her because«she wasn’t sure»(weirddd). The drinks were a little too sweet, for some reason I assumed it was unsweetened when I ordered so I didn’t ask for unsweetened, well, lesson learned. I didn’t want to ask them to change it for me after I had received it because it just took them way too long to get the order to me in the first place(waited almost 40 minutes for my drink). I just waited for the ice to melt to dilute it. Eh. Not very impressed. Not sure if I would be back though… Ain’t nobody got time to wait an hour for two drinks. LOL.

PROS: Pretty spacious seating with a variety of really solid food offerings in HUGE portions. Their beef noodle combo comes in a bowl larger than your head, and the oysters in the Taiwanese oyster dishes are also large and generously doled out. We loved the pick-3-or-4 plate with fried tempura, sweet potato, fried tofu, and popcorn chicken, though the tofu could use a bit more salt and pep. CONS: drinks are super sweet, so ask for less sweetener and snacks/snow ice on their own are kind of pricey.(But yummy nonetheless.) The main issue is the lack of employees in this shop, which slowed everything down considerably. Waited over 30 minutes for one bowl of porridge, and we were the only customers there at the time.(To be fair, we were a group of 7 and had ordered quite a bit of food — but oyster porridge should NOT take that long to serve.) The lu rou fan(minced pork rice) was really subpar unfortunately and seemed to dissolve into the rice. BOTTOMLINE: the entrees are on point for the giant serving size and the very fair price — almost to the point of wastefulness. Their street food is great so I would try those or the beef noodle soup. Be prepared for lots of leftovers and to wait for a while. Hopefully they’ll cook a little more efficiently next time so customers won’t wait so long, but overall I had a good time and would come again.

I love Snowy! Both the atmosphere and aesthetic here is fantastic, great place to hang with friends, grab some drinks and a bite to eat. The food here is fantastic, and definitely don’t forget to order the Snow Ice! Restaurant is also very clean, and service is extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Slow slow slow service. They made a mistake on two out of three of our drinks. The owner(?) started yelling at an employee for one of the mess ups and made us so uncomfortable that we just took the incorrect drink. We asked for the check and two to go cups 10 minutes ago and are still waiting for it. They don’t come around to the tables to check– I had to get up four times in the short time we’ve been here. Probably won’t be back here… Hide Out has much friendlier and efficient service. I’ll stick to them instead!

Pearl Plaza is a new place in Rowland Heights that also has this café called Snowy. Haven’t been here before and my friend just wanted to grab a quick drink and talk about life so we decided to sit down at this café. Ordered a seaweed egg soup, guava slush and a black ice tea. I felt like everything was pretty much alright at this place it isn’t something amazing but it wasn’t at all bad. So if you do need a place to get some drinks this can be an option as well. They do also have food items but we weren’t really hungry at the moment so I didn’t get to try any really out. Soup tasted average and nothing something but it was a pretty large portion. Drinks also came pretty large as well with no complaints. Service was quick and so was the drink orders. Can’t really complain at all.

This is the not-so-different restaurant that replaced Sno-Crave. Place has decent food, Taiwanese Café style. Great service although they do seem to be a bit understaffed. It does seem that most of the servers are foreign, if I didn’t speak Chinese, there might be a bit of a struggle. The staff is really open to adjustments to the food and drink which is great because to me, their drinks are a little too sweet. They have free Wi-Fi and a really nice outdoor lounging area. Cash only for under $ 25 which is annoying but there is an ATM outside.

Happy that a new place opened up in the neighborhood so decided to give it a try… I regret it so much. Service lack of training Food overall NOGOOD: — popcorn chicken: dry and a bit sour they even fry the basil stems and put them on the plate — stay beef fried rice: the beef is hard as jerky… — satay beef fried noodles: oily and doesn’t taste good either. — spicy dry noodles: this was a good! I honestly doubt I would return again.

Ordered iced rose green tea($ 3.50) with pudding($ 0.50) The drink was the sweetest drink I’ve ever had in my life. It’s so sweet that your dentist would want you to be a regular to this place. It’s so sweet that you better check your sugar level after a sip of the tea. The place is super cute and they have cards and board games. 1 star! Way too sweet for me! Snowy Taiwanese Café Tea House is not yummylicious!

Service efficiency got much better than when it was SnoCrave and it’s definitely a nice place to study! Lots of open space, wifi, quiet, and large/fairly priced drinks! Green milk tea is always my go to drink and it’s retry solid here. The sizes are huge. Only thing is that they have $ 25 minimum on credit cards. So bring cash. Which is kinda ridiculous because who plans to spend $ 25 at a boba place? I guess the 10% off when you check in on Unilocal helps though. :p

Came here after dinner at lobster bay to hang out with a few friends. Ordered the strawberry ice mountain and I was so incredibly disappointed. My 2 star is for presentation and the fact that my friends seemed to have enjoyed their drinks. I however did not enjoy the $ 7 – 8 ice mountain which was a total rip off. The flavor combo was just all wrong. Chocolate syrup and ice doesn’t go well together. There were only a few measly pieces of cut up strawberries which shouldn’t even allow this to be called a «strawberry ice mountain». *sigh* Other than that, this place did have cards for us to borrow to keep our minds off the horrible ice mountain. I’m pretty sure any other ice mountain would have been better. It just has to! However I don’t see myself coming back here to try anything else off the menu.

Name sound quite funky so is their drink here… The offer large variety of drink and Taiwanese food here similar like tea station. Our group original wanna try their shave ice but the portion look small and after all is just shave ice and not snow ice which is more tasty. So everyone in the group just order its own drink instead. Every drink take a long to time despite there was not a lot people during middle of the week. Everyone has same complain of the drink, is way over sweeeet ! OMG the drink i had is so sweet that I can’t finish it. I don’t remember the last time I had drink sweet as this one in a tea place. The drink wasn’t bad but the excess sugar ruined it… The décor is modern and the AC is strong enough despite is like 90 degree outside in 9pm. I not sure I would come here again unless I in the same plaza.

In the new plaza Pearl of the East(東方明珠) off of 60 and Nogales, this café is good for people who have a lot of time to wait and need a slow place to hang out. If you want authentic food served in a timely manner, go try other dining options. DÉCOR: Outside patio seating not much maintained. Inside the restaurant is clean and spacious, but felt like a waste of space with few tables. There are cubbies with some Chinese books to read. SERVICE: Being the first month of operation, this restaurant has a lot of improvements to make including 1. Set table setting and dining utensils upon seating, when entrees are presented, OR before seating diners. They just need to decide one protocol instead totally dismissing it. We had to ask multiple times for chopsticks, forks, spoons, bowls, plates, etc. 2. Staff training on menu and how to serve– the server we had didn’t know much about the differences between different dish. When serving popcorn chicken, he almost knocked the plate off the table; he blocked the plate with his hands and in the process, he also touched majority of popcorn chicken. Normally, other restaurant would either provide a replacement or cancel the order, but nothing, he didn’t seen to notice and continued to serve. Eww~ 3. Faster processing time — average wait to get food is between 45−60minutes, and the restaurant was less than half full(only 5 parties), which is incredulous. The food didn’t come at the same time either. Halfway getting our food, the server came by to ask if we want to order more food, and this is when only 3 out of 7 entrees were served after seated for 1 hour; he thought we’re already done. Crazy! FOOD: go elsewhere for better flavor/portion, or wait until they make improvements before coming here. Most people in our party left the café still hungry and went dimsum elsewhere afterwards as who knows how much longer it was going to take to place other orders here. CRISPYPORKCHOPRICE(香酥排骨飯 $ 7.95) the deep fried pork chop had greasy batter and was flavorless. Both my sister in law and I asked for some kind of sauce to enhance the flavor. The original orange color glaze did nothing for the pork chop, and the new black sauce was a bit spicy. Neither worked with the poor chop. CRIPSYFISHFILLETRICE(特製魚排飯 $ 7.95) the deep fried fillet was a bit too fried and dry. SHACHABEEFCHOWMEIN(沙茶空心菜牛肉炒麵 $ 8.50) bland/runny flavor with water spinach, overcooked shredded beef, and flaccid noodles. TAIWANESESTINKYTOFU(台式臭豆腐 $ 5.95) average SEAFOODGRAVYRICE(海鮮燴飯 $ 8.45) the last to be served, shrimp was a bit overcooked, but the other seafood is okay. POPCORNCHICKEN(鹽酥雞 $ 4.95) had a different spice flavor that didn’t taste very authentic

The atmosphere and the service was excellent for a new establishment. They have lots of space and closes late on weekends. Great for big parties, as well. I had the passion green tea, and it was served in a nice glass pitcher.(Visually appealing). I didn’t get to try to food, but hope to come again soon! Would recommend!

So today is their grand opening and their snacks are really good. I got the sweet potato fries and the tempura, both were perfect. I also ordered the honey green tea with boba, it was sweet but still refreshing. My family ordered milk tea, green tea, and a green bean milk shake(it was so good btw) The boba was cooked perfectly too. Overall this place is great for a quick snack or a late night dessert and it’s a great spot for hang outs. Also pet friendly! The best part about this place is WIFI haha
