This lady is on Groupon, right now. This is the only way I found her. So, obviously Groupon works for new clients. When I called to set up an appointment, she asked right away if I had purchased the Groupon already. She did not want me to purchase the Groupon, only to use this company for new clients for free. She stated that she received the full amount of her services if I purchased this deal, at the same price of a Groupon, from her directly. Again, I would not know her from Adam without Groupon.
So, I had purchased an EVENT makeup application, this is an important detail. We made the appointment three weeks in advance, so plenty of time for a specific date, and specific time to make my event on time. The appointment was set. I prepared everything else necessary for going to the opera in Dallas, Tx, a social event. My husband is a surgeon in Highland Park, Dallas.
So, the day was finally here. She called me one hour before our appointment, this was about one week ago, and cancelled. Her excuse was that she had heard on the news that there was POSSIBLY going to be a weather alert for thunderstorms from 3 to 6 pm in her area. «She never left her children at home with bad weather». WHAT a lame excuse. I proceeded to school her on the weather men in Dallas, Tx, stating that they never can predict weather to the exact time frame, try as the may and regardless of how good they were. To make this excuse was absolutely RIDICULOUS! Not to mention that her children must not be home ALONE in the first place and surely you trust your caregiver enough to know the necessary TORNADO or storm procedures to protect your precious loved ones. She screamed at me, «obviously you need to give your life to GOD because YOU have a problem!!! REALLY??? ME???
Of course, Groupon refunded my money but what else could they do? absolutely NOTTA. If I could give her a 0 star I would, but that is not an option. Her Groupon says Wedding or Event Makeup Application. What if that would have been my Wedding? Thank goodness for small miracles.
Please do not patronize this woman. She is off her rocker and needs to fail in business as so many others do!
