Tonight I ordered 3 bean burritos and 3 hot sauces. When I got home there was only one hot sauce!!! It would’ve be nice if they could count!!!

This bueno is going downhill a bit. New management maybe? Dunno. But I always get the mucho nachos and lately they lack enough toppings. I have more dry chips than not. And when did they start putting tomato’s on them? I realize there have always been tomato’s in the«salad» version, but the last couple of times I ordered my mucho nacho’s they came with tomato’s and no sour cream. I hate warm tomato’s. And my sister ordered the«salad» version a couple weeks back and they completely left off ANY cheese at all. Just lettuce and tomato on dry chips! No bueno at all… The few times we’ve gone inside to order it has taken a ridiculous amount of time to get our order.

I really love taco bueno! I’m not sure why so many people hate on it but they have always done us right! I love their big ol’ beef burrito(BOB) and I am a fan of their cheesecake chimichanga. The service is quick and efficient. The food is always fresh and hot. Definitely the place I go for a quick Mexican bite!

So with Taco Bueno I use to get the muchaco until I discovered it has tiny onions in the beef. It’s within the beef seasoning so it’s in all things made with beef. If you can hack those tiny onions, you will be fine but I personally could not. I recently tried a beef roll up to give it another go and no luck, I only are it because I was really hungry and the roll up are kid size. Speaking of the taco roll ups, like I said, I don’t get anything beef anymore but my husband, 5 yr old daughter and I loved the chicken taco roll up and they are only .49 on Tuesdays if you are looking for a fantastic try for kids, or a cheap meal. I like the mexi dip and chips but again, there are onions in the guacamole(diced) and visible. I think you can sub that out though for more beans or cheese, but I cannot remember. Party burritos are cheap and yum. The steak fajita tacos are good but pricey if it’s all you get. 2 didn’t fill me up. I do have a family of 5, though and with my newborn it’s 6, so I tend to eat heartier now because of him.(breastfeeding takes more calories!) even before our last child, I don’t recall those 2 fajita tacos alone filling me up. I like their cinnamon chips too.

All tables dirty. This is a regular problem here. Made several complaints but no one seems to care that it’s not kept clean. Had to clean a table with hand sanitizer!

Good food… HORRIBLE service. …unless you drive through. I went inside bc the drive through was 5 – 6 cars deep and ONLY one customer was inside at the counter. I ordered nachos, simple right… not so much. I waited and waited. I then noticed how three employees were rushing about to get drive through orders out. When I asked about my order, it was explained that walk in orders are handled at a separate prep area… the one where apparently no one assigned. Then I noticed a clock over the drive through window. …they had to beat the clock at drive through. I demanded my money back. I love the food but I refuse to pay for horrible service.

Edit: Its gone down hill really quickly. Its not very clean anymore and the food is below average. Out of the 8 tacos we ordered, 7 were broken. They argued about the order. I know what I asked for. I repeated it several times, as a matter of fact. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – Its a good bueno. Not the best bueno, but still good. It wasn’t very good in April, but its much better now. The salsa is good and the tacos had a good amount of meat. But the bacon and egg burrito was tiny. Half as much egg as other buenos.

Pretty good for what it is. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not super fancy Mexican food at all. But it is pretty decent for fast food, especially the new Bueno Burritos that they are offering. Also, the renovations to the inside of this location is pretty nice, much less sticky/gross than it used to be. I had to dock two starts because not only is it not on par with some actual, honest Mexican restaurants(*cough* Frankie’s *cough*), but also because they seems to get frazzled at the drive-thru window and a lot of the time end up messing up/leaving something off of my order. But all in all, I will always love me some Bueno.

This is the only Taco Bueno that gets MexiDips & chips right! Their shells always taste fresh and the cheese is ONPOINT. I love this place. Top it off with cheesecake chimichangas and you’re set! Will be coming here more often.

It is what you think it is. Cheap, cardboardish Mexican food.

seriously… the best! me and ang are starving after our exploits today… especially after talking to sammy the fitness guru. i say lets pop in for a burrito and we can share a tea… cause we are poor and all. i pull in… eleventy three cars are in drive thru so immediately i am agitated. shockingly enough within 2.5 minutes we are ordering and i happily tell pablo that we would like 2 party bean burritos and a medium tea. sweet or unsweet? geesh, we are getting in shape dude, unsweet… DOI. we go around to the window and he hands us a gallon size drink full of tea, which is good after the snot flavored protein drinks, ang’s lip is stuck to her gum so i had to rehydrate her. i am so glad we didnt get a large! whoa… tea was tasty and soooo fresh! and then here comes the treat! good holy! its is pipin hot! vegetarian angela is looking at me like there is no way she is eating that crap… dude, its beans and chese and a tortilla. WHOA best i have had in a long time. they are so gone before we even get to the stoplight, which is less than a block away from the drive thru. everytime one goes to a bueno, one should expect bueno goodness for sure from the food and beverage but we got bueno goodness with service as well. pleasant surprise!
