Came on Sunday. The place was dark. Everything inside was gone. I think they are gone closed for good. Too bad, was a great place.

Great little donut shop with amazing old school donuts. You do have to time it right as the donuts are made fresh every day. ~ 8AM seems to be the sweet spot.

Came highly recommended, but I left disappointed. Old fashioned donuts(think fried dough stuffed with Jelly) and coffee was not very good. Really wanted to like this place… might try again… didn’t have much selection when we went(weekday about 10 am). Not sure if they only offer two kinds of donuts, or if they run out by 10 am… either way I ended up stopping at Honeydew for my fix. Cash Only.

I’ve been going to Archie’s since it first opened. Archie is a true artisan and has been making donuts from scratch his entire life using recipes handed down through generations in his family. You won’t find a better hand crafted donut anywhere. Archie lives in Rowley so when you buy from him you know you are supporting the local economy and not giving your money away to an evil corporation. The sandwiches that Archie makes are also amazing and reasonably priced. The staff at Archie’s are also nice and genuinely interested in how you are doing. When you go remember to introduce yourself to Archie in the kitchen.

This is the best donut shop I have ever been to in my life. I often call and make special order for red valvet, bacon with maple syrup and the Boston cream donuts. It is a nice stop before or after you visit the Todd Farm Flea Market.
