Vintage Salon and Day Spa

I went to this spa once and couldn’t believe the owner. First of all she wanted a credit card to book an appointment. I told her I wasn’t doing that and she backed off immediately. I returned… same day for my pedicure appointment and was given a full page questionnaire asking what medicines I took… height, weight! …nuts. I put a big X through everything and signed the bottom of her sheet. Frankly it was none of their business. Receptionist looked horrified but lead me to the person who was going to provide the service. Then the owner came over and thrust the clipboard at me and said «I need this information to protect the salon» told her no and just walked out. It wasn’t like I was having surgery or some kind of medical type procedure… this was a pedicure. NUTS!

I love Vintage and have been going there for the past 5 years to get my hair done by Ali.
The interior has an old Hollywood glamour motif; it has a very luxurious feel when you walk in. You hardly remember that you’re in Rowley.
They offer almost every beauty service there is and all of the staff are extremely friendly, polite, and professional.

This Salon is very pretty inside, think old Hollywood glamour. I have had several different treatments here, skin care, massage, pedicure, but no hair services. I highly recommend Elle for any skin care or waxing. I will not go anywhere else for my waxing now because she is so pleasant and responsive to my needs. I tend to like deep tissue massage so this is not always my first pick for massage.

A couple of months ago I recieved a letter invIting me to take advantage of a complimentary spa massage and color treatment for my hair. Both were very appreciated. The massage therapist was beyond excellent… professional, knowledgeable about anatomy and physiology and sensitive to my pain and stress points. I am not a connoisseur of massage therapists but I have been to my fair share over the years. I have see Steve twice now for a deep tissue massage and he gets extremely high marks from me!

I recently moved to the area and I received a flyer from the spa offering a complimentary cut/​style or color/​mini facial for new clients. I called to make an appointment and I was told my name wasn’t on the list, so they wouldn’t honor the invitation (she wouldn’t even look up the address). It clearly states promotion for new customers on the bottom of the invitation and I have never been to the salon (and it was only addressed to current resident on the envelope). Needless to say I will be taking my business elswhere! Really poor customer service!
