Pretty small, and if you ask for a less than top line liquor from behind the register they will make fun of you. I’m making a cocktail for a house party, I don’t care if it’s the top of the line tequila!

My go to liquor store when I’m in the area. It’s isn’t overpriced like the Huntington liquor store, and they have pretty good deals every once in a while.
Their 6 packs are priced like everywhere else, $ 8.99, hard liquor is between $ 20 – 26 for things like Captain and Smirnoff. Recently found a deal for Patron’s blanco $ 40, usually priced $ 50 and up, but Espolon tequila is much better if you can find it.
They have a lot of small bottles and wide selection of wine and boxed wine.

It looks a little sketchy. It’s not. Great prices and a wide selection, I enjoy the fact that so many white wines are pre chilled. Easy walk from the south end— or a quick hop on the 43.

Walking in on a Friday night with Spanish music bumping, a Patron promoter offering free shots, and a homeless guy dancing, this place definitely is a culture shock to the majority of Northeastern University students that need cheap liquor.
That being said, it is a much better option than Huntington Liquors as it is cheap, has a decent selection, and the guys working are actually friendly.
Note: College kids should not try to use a fake ID here to buy booze. Despite being in Roxbury, this place is legitimate and your ID will get taken.

Beware: When they say «Hollywood» Liquors, it’s kinda like Julia Roberts’ Hollywood in ‘Pretty Woman’ …BEFORE she met Richard Gere. ChooKnow?

What a dingy shop. Very small and cramped, on Tremont street. Very convenient if you’re living in Northeastern housing on Columbus Ave. Otherwise, this place sucks.
The beer is ridiculously overpriced, the selection is pathetic. Paying nine dollars for a six pack that I can find for six dollars otherwise in the city is a great annoyance.
They are also very strict on ids here. The staff doesn’t do any real checking, except the picture. Everything gets run through a machine or scanned. In fact, one of my legal friends got turned away because his license wasn’t the most recent version used by his home state.
