Was picking up a black tie on my way into work earlier. I was in a rush and called ahead to make sure they carried plain black the clerk assured me they did. When I arrived I seen the tie selection right away and headed over. The employee must have seen the urgency in my face because he addressed me right away and asked if I had called. He already had a black tie picked out for me and rung me up, knowing I was in a rush invited me back and wished me a good day. His promptness and awareness was amazing and I normally don’t leave reviews but I was impressed as I’m sure you will be too

I actually just officially signed up for Unilocal because I wanted to write a good review for Chrome.
I have gone into Chrome a few times over the years, mainly when I am in town and need a really nice dress. The staff has always been superb. I tell them what the occasion is and they don’t stop looking until they find the perfect dress for me (they are very honest and will tell you if a dress isn’t a good fit). They also make sure to let you know what shoes to wear, what kind of purse matches best, and what jewelry would work best. I must say that my favorite part about Chrome is that when they sell you a dress, they write down what you plan on wearing it to and they will not sell the same dress to another person going to the same event. They are amazing.

You know a clothing store is good when the staff will tell you that jacket just does not look good on you.
Every three months or so, I duck into Chrome to see styles that I’m unlikely to find elsewhere. I found my favorite black wool coat with a bit of a militant flair thanks to the owners who picked it out for me.
Chrome is a bit pricey at times, but it’s deservedly so. The owners, Tom and Chris, search for unique items and keep the inventory limited.
If you see something and fits you, buy it because it might be gone tomorrow.

While I realllly like the selection of jeans they have here, I do NOT love the prices. This store definitely has some funky clothing, and if you’re looking for something that no one else will be wearing, this is the place to shop. Besides the prices, my other complaint would be that you only get store credit when returning something. *Sigh*
The guys who work there (and also manage/own the place?) are helpful and will usually tell you (truthfully) how something looks on you. I DO appreciate that.
