No reviews? Un-possible! But apparently true. Well, here goes: Rare Old Prints really is a gem of a store. There are *ahem* rare and old prints of every description to be found here, but I really found a preponderance of flora and fauna. My interest leans towards medical prints and maps, and there were many old map and atlas prints that I really enjoyed. We almost bought one here last year, and we didn’t because it was $ 250 and we wanted to think about it — it was gone sooner than you’d know it. In terms of medical prints, there are a few good anatomical ones, but none related to physiology, which was disappointing. They had a good relationship for framing with the Ladybug Shop, which has(alas) since closed. The owner is an interesting and very knowledgeable person whom you could really chat with once you find a print you’re interested in. Prices do vary — prints can be in the $ 20s and up, depending on how old or how large they are, or both.
