Rare Old Prints

No reviews? Un-​possible! But apparently true. Well, here goes: Rare Old Prints really is a gem of a store. There are *ahem* rare and old prints of every description to be found here, but I really found a preponderance of flora and fauna. My interest leans towards medical prints and maps, and there were many old map and atlas prints that I really enjoyed. We almost bought one here last year, and we didn’t because it was $ 250 and we wanted to think about it — it was gone sooner than you’d know it. In terms of medical prints, there are a few good anatomical ones, but none related to physiology, which was disappointing. They had a good relationship for framing with the Ladybug Shop, which has (alas) since closed. The owner is an interesting and very knowledgeable person whom you could really chat with once you find a print you’re interested in. Prices do vary — prints can be in the $ 20s and up, depending on how old or how large they are, or both.
