I’m extremely cynical when a cell phone sales employee explains plan options to me. I feel like they’re trying to intentionally confuse me and rip me off. The 4 stars is because I didn’t totally feel like that was happening at this Sprint store location. The location was convenient to get to, had parking, and the inside of the store was decent. I went to Sprint because my plan was due for an upgrade for a new phone. Nancy was extremely helpful, suggested a different plan that would save money every month, and added some other features to the plan without raising the price. I’m a little skeptical that Sprint no longer has a policy where I can just buy a new phone at the upgrade rate(rather than leasing or financing through Sprint as I was told) and also switch to a different plan… but I took Nancy’s word for it. At the end of the day(I hate that phrase FYI) the entire new phone and plan saves money every month so I wasn’t going to argue too much. But Nancy didn’t pressure me into anything, was extremely knowledgable about the products and services, and didn’t pressure me into anything. I just need to make sure that I upgrade again in 24 months, or else I’ll be paying the same lease rate for the current phone when I’m eligible for a new one. I guess I need to set a calendar reminder for that. Anyhoo — The location was fine, and Nancy was more helpful than most cell phone employees I have dealt with.
