Starbucks

This Starbucks is tucked inside a corner of the produce section of Meijer, right between one of the entrance doors of the store, and the meat counter. Like most Starbucks, it opens early, at 6am.
I generally come to Meijer, first thing in the morning to get some treats for the day, and stop at the Starbucks on the way out. There generally isn’t a line, but the service doesn’t reflect that. More times than once, the barista/​s only had one or two brews ready, extending the wait time if you happen to choose the brew that needs to be hand poured. The several times that I’ve been here, it seems like there’s one barista training another, so it’s a crapshoot if you get stuck with one of the trainees…

This is a small in-​store location, almost a «deluxe kiosk», that can be found right after you enter Meijer from the east entrance. It is directly adjacent to the produce and fresh deli meat/​cheese area. The hours when I last checked were 6AM — 7PM 7 days a week.
They offer a majority of the Starbucks roster of coffee and specialty coffees. I think they even have a few pastries too. There are a handful of small tables to sit at, but honestly this is a great way to kick-​off or end a trip to the grocery store! Staff here have always been very friendly and helpful, albeit it is typically just one barista so sometimes the wait can be a few minutes. My wife though will start getting the fruit & veggies while I wait to snag us some warm drinks. Win-​win-​win situation!
It is important to note that while they do accept Starbucks Cards here, they do not have the ability to do any phone app barcode scanning. Furthermore, you will not get your points if you use your gift card, Starbucks Card, GoldCard here. Lastly, all the perks you get for having a card such as free flavorings, soy upgrades, etc. do not apply at this location.
