Calypso Bay Water Park

Not much of a wow factor as far as water parks go only two slides with only one that I could go on, but a nice relaxing lazy
Olympic swimming pool. A nice little food station where you can get pizza and french fries berks entry fee won’t break your wallet so it’s a pretty nice place to bring your kids

I’ve been to this place with my young nephews once before and the experience was fine. It’s a cute little water park for the 8 and under kids. This time, it was overcast. We WERE advised that no refunds were issued if the weather takes a nasty turn but within seconds of money exchanging hands, the lightening alarm sounded and everyone was asked to leave the water. At that point, we were told that the weather could pass but if in an hr it didn’t, they would close park. We decided to wait it out because they already issued us non refundable bands. More than HOUR AND A HALF later, we were still getting the «my manager still hasn’t decided if the weather is moving» schpeel and we had impatient/​sad kids with us under age 4… not to mention the three different camp groups all waiting for the same about of time. After 4 separate attempts to get info, we were told they were closing the park and were finally issued passes to come back. Too long to wait for little kids. Stick to your policies… don’t dangle hope in front of young ones.

Love this place!!! It’s awesome for kids ages 1 – 6. And price is cheap too. They sell food there too which is a plus

Calypso Bay is a small but very entertaining little place! With very affordable prices, it is definitely the place to go on just any hot day of the year! This little cozy place has from a shallow 2 inches of water for the little ones to sit and enjoy the cool water to a slightly deeper, playground with slides and more involvement area for toddlers and older kids to a lazy river for everyones enjoyment to a deeper 3 to 6 ft pool and 2 bigger slides that require a minimum of 42 inches height to be able to enjoy! All of these fun is supervised at all times by multiple lifeguard sitting every few feet from each other at differet sections of the park. The park has a nice picnic area for snacks or lunch as well as a food establishment that serves kid friendly foods and beverages. Lockers are available for rent to lock up personal items if wished.
There are also party rooms available for birthdays and such. Restrooms, changing rooms as well as showers are all available. Kids as well as adults are guaranteed a fun and refreshing time here at Calypso Bay!
