Great lunch place. I could go here every day. Nice options, affordable prices, tasty food.

Pretty good Cuban food. Not as authentic as others but closer so it will have to do :) I wasn’t happy that I couldn’t have arroz con pollo. They told me it would take them 90 minutes to make and kept pushing me to order something else so I did. The potato balls and rice are excellent. Loved the plantains. It definitely isn’t the best Cuban food but it isn’t bad. Prices are equivalent to most others.

The best drink from this restaurant is lemonade. You could easily taste fresh lemon juice used for this recipe. No cube ice is added to this drink but instead, they uses the ice cubes in a blender until smooth. It is very delicious. My husband and I are pleased to make a quick stop for a glass of lemonade.

Great steak and fish plates. Yummy plantain chips and dip. Friendly service. Took off one star because the sangria is made from canned fruits… skip that! Great lunch specials.

Delicious Cuban Cuisine, great service and great pricing. Everything from the Ceviche, Empanadas, the sampler appetizer platter, Churassco, Milanesa de pollo y de res, the whole red snapper fried with rice, beans and sweet plantains, we will be back!

The food was good but the way the restaurant is set up is more like a Duffy’s, too noisy. I could not even converse with my group. The food carrier held the dishes like they were disposable, he just slapped them on the table, and he was chewing, gave me the impression he was munching on my platano chips, I was not impressed

Served delicious garlic bread while waiting for our food, Happy Hour(2 for 1) all day everyday my sister and I shared a round of Margaritas on the Rick that were delicious. I orders the Pollo al la Juliana(grilled chicken strips served with green peppers, red peppers and white onions) it was absolutely delicious and for dessert we had a tres leche. I will be back to this location much better then the one on Clematis

After eating at Don Ramon’s for almost 13 years, I was absolutely disgusted at the fact that they brought my wife a churrasco that was made with spoiled meat. I smelled it and it was horrific. The waiter was notified and they brought my wife a fresh churrasco. My wife said let it go. So I was speaking to my son tonight and he too had a similar experience. I was really upset. Somehow the management has managed to take what was once a mom and pop style cuban restaurant(Wellington’s was great) and have turned it into a low budget, low quality restaurant who I clearly suggest NOONE ever eat there again. By the way…1 star is because i can’t give it a half-star.

When they first opened they had decent food but last 2 times we’ve come its been awful. Today we ordered the snapper special, the whole fish — was so dry & tasted like it was frozen & thawed for days. The rice was also hard & dry. Then we tried to return the food & the waiter returns to explain that the manager reduced the plate from $ 22 to $ 17. Seriously? For rice & beans & tostones you going to charge me $ 17…We paid but for sure with that poor customer service and bad quality of food you will not be seeing us come back.

We love this place! I am cuban and I can tell you that this food is authentic– of course by cuban law I have to say my grandma’s cooking is better, but nonetheless their food is on point. Give it a shot!

Just had the take out ½ Sandwich and soup combo. It was extremely good, filling and priced right at 7.95. For the sandwich I went with the Pan Con Lechon, roast pork with sautéed onions. Sandwich was juicy with very fresh tasting bread! For the soup I went with good old fashion chicken soup. The soup was perfect and reminded me of my grandma’s home made soup. Well done Don Ramon’s. You will be seeing me here again for sure!

Food was not fresh. Once we ordered it took them 3 minutes to bring it out and everything was cold. The waiter was horrible and had an attitude. Only time he was nice was when it was time to pay the bill. The food was overpriced for the quality.(We had the ropa vieja and palomilla steak.)

Loved. Great cuban place in the burbs of West Palm. Authentic place with the charm to match. Try the ropa vieja and add the garlic sauced yuka. Also try the lechon sandwich with fries or the smoked ham croquetta. A big surprise is the ceviche special with home made chips. All good. Something about those chips. A must try if they have it on the menu. Drinks are not anything special which is the only thing that i would not order again. I had the mojito and it was just ok. Really need to try for the food.

I have only been once but the service was good. Hostess greeted us quickly and waitress was friendly. The prices are reasonable and the portions are nice. I had the ropa vieja and it was very good. Not the best ever but still very good. I uploaded pictures of my meal. I will visit again.

Here are all the delicious reasons why I like this place: — cheap — vaca fritta is delicious — potato balls are delicious — yellow rice and plantains are delicious — fried pork chunks are delicious — plantain chips are delicious My mom says this place is hit or miss, but I’ve been here twice and both times were really good, so I have yet to think otherwise.

I had very high expectations for this place. The Resturant looks amazing. Staff was great, but once I was served my food everything went down. A lot of my friends spoke highly of Don Ramon’s, so when they opened a new location by my house I was very eager to try it out. I have to say my rice was good, drink was ok, my chicken tasted like it was boiled and then delivered to my table. It was awful. I’m not the one to cause a fuss and send a plate back since I don’t believe in wasting food. I have not been back since.

Don Ramon’s has been around forever and still does not disappoint. This new location is nice even if its a little further away. Its worth a few extra miles plus its close to lots of places we commonly go to. On our most recent visits we had the churrasco steak with shrimp and it was delicious! I have definitely found my new favorite!!! The garlic sauce with tasty without being overbearing. The palomilla steak, kids chicken and croquettes were delicious as well. The service was very attentive both visits.

We were looking for authentic Cuban food but were disappointed We ordered Ceviche for appetizer, which turned out to be chunks of fish swimming in pure vinegar The chicken soup was good Arroz con pollo turned out to be very undercooked chicken with very little flavor and overcooked rice The meal was a bit pricey and we certainly did not get our moneys worth This is not the place for authentic cuban cuisine!
