I inquired on whether or not the paint I was buying would work on a particular type of surface and was told, verbatim, «look it up on google, it’ll be faster.» I don’t think I have ever had great customer service here, but when you have very expensive projects that you are working on and you need to know whether or not your materials will be ruined by applying certain products to it, you depend on the retailer to be somewhat of an expert on it, or at least accommodating. If I wanted to read message boards for novice responses I would have.
At the end of the day, if you work at a craft store, you should know the basics about each product you sell, at the least. If not, the proper response would have been «I’m not sure but let me find out for you.» I’ll take my business to another craft store thank you very much.

I am very disappointed in this store.. I frequently visit Michael’s because I am planning my wedding and also planning baby showers and bridal showers for my friends. I asked three different people for help and they just brushed me off like I wasn’t important. I found everything I needed after 35 minutes and get to the cash register and there are a total of 17 people in line and ONE register open with someone who was training. NO ONE called for back up or help. A store employee walked up to arrange the fall floral and I asked if they could open another register and she said «We’re doing the best we can…» Umm. clearly you aren’t. I told her she could put the items in my cart away and we left the store. That was over $ 100.00 in items. I also then called the store and advised of the issue upfront but that was a waste of time cause clearly no one cares about customers in this store. I have NEVER have had any issues in Michael’s before and it put a very bad taste in my mouth, my fiances mouth, and my 3 other friends that were with me. I am very happy Joanne’s was down the street because I was able to go and purchase my items and they allowed me to stack coupons there and honored Michael’s coupons. I did tell everyone about my experience and I will continue to do so. I have spent almost $ 1,000.00 alone in Michael’s since May and I will take all my business elsewhere. Please get your act together. I sent an email to corporate as well.

Yup, reviews seems to be accurate for this place. Can we say UNORGANIZED? When I was checking out, the two young cashiers just kept talking to each other without acknowledging customers. They basically were just scanning and talking to one another. No hello, how was your day, thank you, or goodbye. This place truly needs a strict manager to turn this place around.

Visited this Michaels this evening to grab some items for my 3 year olds upcoming birthday party. Wow was I surprised. The ENTIRE staff was SO rude. No customer service skills at all. I’ve never felt the way I did… Left an entire cart full (which I never do) and left. NEVER will I EVER step foot in another Michaels.

The check out line is all the way down the aisle to the end of the store. Seriously upper management… do you think you can hire more cashiers for the holidays!!!

Poor Customer Service.
We rented a room for our little girls Birthday Party and the A/​C was not working.
When complained to the manager she refused to help or refund.

This location is a hot mess! The aisles are too compact and the main aisles have displays down the center which made it too narrow. They seem to have too much stock of some stuff and next to nothing of others. This location is way too small. They should revamp their store more to the caliber of their Boynton or Coral Springs locations. Maybe move a few doors down in either direction to the old PB Ballroom or ToysRUs sites. Also, the weekends are murder so beware.
