Yes the chicken nuggets are amazing, however overpriced. Went for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was good but not sure I will go back to pay that kind of money for fried food. I do have to say this was the first friend food in forever that did not make me sick a few hours later which was a plus because fried food and I never agree well! All in all if u are looking for good fried food and willing to pay for it go here!

Pete and Henry’s has weathered more than one recession and I’m a fan! Don’t come with high expectations for anything except good service. This is a small town American food space and given BIg Food Monopolies we don’t have that many left. I eat at pete and Henry’s every chance i get if passing through rural Massachusetts and how often is that ??? Suzan

If you only read one thing I say: chicken nuggets. That being said, I’ve been a fan of Pete & Henry’s since I was in diapers(I grew up nearby). The chicken nuggets are definitely worth the trip — they’re famous among the locals. Onion rings come in a close second. The pizza doesn’t taste Italian at all(some unusual cheese and a sweet sauce), but it’s always popular. The décor is definitely outdated(very 70s), but hey, I guess that’s part of Pete & Henry’s charm. Great family place though, whether you’re a local or passing through.

The food here is great, even if you’re not a fried food fan. The chicken nuggets, onion rings and pizza(yes pizza) are the best! The service is good and friendly but the atmosphere is, well a bit 70’s-ish. Still, if you’re rolling down Rte 2, this place is worth a detour. I’ve been stopping here since I was a kid with my parents and it is one of my all time favorites. Very kid friendly.

Every time I have been here I’ve ended up throwing up. But, it’s the only restaurant in the town of Royalston, so it needs to stay on the map. I have known a lot of people who got their start waitressing here, and the food tastes decent — my stomach just isn’t all that excited about it afterwards. It mostly falls under the«local flavor» category.
