My girlfriend and I love this state park! We have been to every state park in Georgia for camping and this one is by far our favorite! The park rangers are all extremely helpful and personable, and the grounds are very well kept. It’s a beautiful place to go for an afternoon or a weekend! The lake in the front is large and is filled with fish. There are also many different types of trails ranging from easy to difficult and they are all extremely well marked and fantastic to walk/​hike along. We have been here 3 times and have enjoyed our stay here every time.
