Sooooo slow! I am used to Seasonal Ice Cream places moving a line of people very fast, but the three employees took forever and seemed to be doing a lot of socializing! Ice cream is average at best. They need a kids cup size for small children and lids for ice cream to go. They also ran out of large cups for lemonade and only had little Dixie cup size… Should have used the cups that they use for the milk shakes.

There are places out there that just make you feel right. This is one of them. They offer a great product at a fantastic price. I am in Lincoln, New Hampshire as I write this review. I ordered a two scoop dish with hot fudge. The price for this @ Sunshine is not even $ 4 (including tax). I ordered the same thing here and it was $ 6. I’d like to mention that I am in a tourist trap here in New Hampshire, however the quality of the ice cream is much better at Sunshine Creamery and the portion was 30% more… I laugh at anyone that thinks the prices are high at this hidden gem.

I really like the ice cream here. It’s creamy, fresh and given in big portions (something I really like). The prices are very fair and compatible to what they give you. I got the cookies and cream and my friend got the strawberry. Mine was very good and my friend said the same. I was hoping to try the coffee Oreo but they were all out of it when I came. Since the Oreo was good by itself I could imagine the coffee Oreo combo. The scooper said it was a very popular flavor and one of her own personal favorites. The service was great and the scoopers were all so friendly. Overall this place has a delicious and very wide selection of ice cream. As well as ice cream combos like floats, smoothies and different sundaes available. They also carry frozen yogurt, sorbet, sherbet and non sugar ice cream if your into that. Great selection and great ice cream! Remember it’s cash only!!!

Good tasting ice cream though they are a bit pricey. The jimmys are free so feel free to ask for them. Their chocolate chip was very good.

We ended up at sunshine creamery after a couple siting next to us at dinner recommended it. Sunshine has many Ice cream choices, however they do not have soft serve. The portions are very big and the service is quick. I ordered a small blueberry cheesecake frozen yogurt. It was very good. My husband had chocolate with peanut butter. Rich and satisfying. My daughter had a scoop of vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. She liked it. Overall it was good ice cream. I do prefer ice cream places that offer both hard and soft serve ice cream. If soft serve is not your thing, than this place is for you.

All I can say is I have yet to find an Ice Cream parlor that’s as good as Sunshine! Tends to get crowded, but love when I can get ice cream and relax on the picnic bench! Tons of delicious flavors! The only thing I don’t like is the whipped cream!

One trip to Sunshine Creamery and I am transported back to my childhood when my family would jump in the car to visit one of our favorite local ice cream stands. This place has been a summer time fixture in East Providence for as long as I can remember and it seems like over the years its tough to find a place with better prices and a wider selection of flavors.
They have at least 25+ ice cream flavors (for example: mint oreo, red velvet cake and almond joy) to go along with a handful of low fat yogurt, no sugar added and sherbet options. On a recent visit we ordered a cup of the coffee heath bar yogurt and one of the chocolate peanut cup. They give you two generous scoops for a small sized dish and both were so creamy and tasty and hard to beat at a price of roughly $ 6 total. With friendly service and a nice picnic table area to sit at, Sunshine Creamery has you covered as a reliable and enjoyable ice cream destination.

My favorite ice cream place around. Lots of flavors to choose from and very good prices compared to more upscale places that sell ice cream. If your really craving some ice cream, try the Sunshine Creamery Sundae. It’s almost bottomless!

We just moved to the area and when giving general «this is where we live» directions, we mentioned Sunshine Creamery as a landmark. Everyone, and I mean *everyone* said «You’re gonna love that place! Such good ice cream!» and they were right.
A small is two good sized scoops, I had the Salted Caramel, my husband had Coffee Oreo, and not a false note or ice crystal to be found! Really good, really creamy, and pretty reasonable.
We have another lure in our basket to get our Providence pals over the bridge to East Providence for a visit!

I’m normally not a sweet tooth guy. A few weeks ago during the heat wave, ice cream just seemed like a necessity.
I ordered coffee oreo ice cream. It was freaking awesome. The small was monstrous. We ate out back at one of the many picnic tables. This place is perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Update: still gives large portions of ice cream at a lower than average price, however, they now sell S.B. Winsor Dairy’s ice cream out of Johnston, RI rather than Bliss in Attleboro (I personally prefer Bliss over Winsor). Outdoor seating only, good stop for a sugar fix.

This place gives you a very large portion of premium quality Bliss brand local area ice cream (mmmm Graham Central Station) that is a lot less expensive than most ice cream shops.
