La Quinta right down the street has a laundry room, but it was closed while we were there. Just wonderful. They had no problem telling us about the laundromat right down the road, though. It’s honestly not the best part of town, but I was wearing my last pair of underwear as were my coworkers. It’s a very spacious laundromat with plenty of washers and dryers. The problem is most of the washers are out of commission with barely any sign that they are. Apparently, if the door has masking tape on it(like a two-inch piece), that means the washer/dryer doesn’t work… Who in the world is supposed to know that? Okay, so blue tape over the slot where you put in quarters might be a hint, but anyone can pull it off. The attendant was nice enough, though. She had lots to talk about and answered questions we asked and didn’t ask. I think she might have been a little sweet on my male coworker. lol Thank goodness it only took 3 quarters(18 minutes) to completely dry my clothes on high heat, although, I’m still a little miffed about having to pay $ 3 to wash a ridiculously small load of clothes, but what can you do?
