This is my all-time favorite Pizza King to eat! I have dined here many a times over many years, and their one of the original and best PK’s out there. They are one of the few that serve the Cowboy pizza, which is an awesome tasting, very thick and filling pizza with double toppings. The one-time Mayor of Rushville even worked here making pizza’s, ha. This is a long established location, that inside has not updated in probably 30 years, but hey, that 1970’s wood look is always in fashion, and barely noticeable once the delicious pizza arrives. They have phones at each booth you pick up when you want to call the kitchen and place your order. That was high-tech 40 years ago, and is still cool and nostalgic today, ha. I sometimes drive here from Shelbyville, right past the PK in Shelbyville, just so I can get good service and that great Cowboy pizza that Shelbyville has no clue how to make or what it even is since it is not on their menu. I even explained to them how to make it and 2 times they tried and failed, guess they need to see it made in person to learn, but anyways, Rushville PK is great! They also have various subs and other pizza type foods, but their famous for pizza. The supreme, with no onions, is my 2nd favorite behind the Cowboy. If you have tried other PK’s and not been happy, maybe you should try this location, as it’s one of the best! There is parking on the street and in their parking lot across the street.

I grew up eating this pizza and nothing else can compare. Quality ingredients and many options beyond pizza. The garlic breadsticks are always a must when eating at PK. For pizzas, the specialties are a good choice; meat feast, cowboy(double pepperoni, double sausage, double mushroom, and double cheese that has to go through the oven twice), and of course the chicken ranch pizza. The taco pizza is great to if you are feeling adventurous. I also enjoy the sandwiches with the sub, stromboli, and roast beef w/brown gravy being top notch.

Ahhh … Pizza King Rushville. We come all the way from Cincy to eat here. Best Pizza King location in the chain. We know because we have tried them all. Today we had a different waitress who was very ornery and a little sassy too. We thoroughly enjoyed her and as always loved the Cowboy pizza and deep fried mushrooms. Don’t ever change Rushville we love you most of all!

Pizza King was in downtown Rushville and there was street parking as well as a parking lot across from this place. We came around noon and this place was pretty busy. We seated ourselves in a booth and looked at the menu. A lot of the pizzas sounded good to me and they had a description of what was in the pizza to help us decide what to order. Before I came here, I was told that the Cowboy pizza was the pizza to order and that was what I ordered the first time I came. I ordered the 10 inch Cowboy pizza($ 12.55) and a fountain drink. When it came to ordering, whoever was closest to the phone at the table would be the one to call in the order. It was interesting how to order your food and definitely the first time I went to a place like this. We waited a while before all of our food came out at once. The Cowboy pizza looked pretty good and it was loaded with ingredients(double pepperoni, double sausage, double mushroom, and extra cheese). It was cut weird though so that left 4 slices very oddly shaped. Nevertheless, the pizza was good in my opinion and I’d say the 10 inch pizza is definitely enough for 1 or 2 people. I came back a couple days later with different coworkers to try something else for lunch. I ordered a 8 inch Taco pizza($ 6.95) and it was pretty messy. The taste did remind me of a taco so it lived up to its name. There were other things on the menu I wanted to try but couldn’t. Their strombolis looked good from the few that my coworkers ordered between my two visits. This place was not bad and if you’re in the mood for pizza then come by.

Two words: Royal Feast. I’ve eaten at other Pizza King franchises, but I am partial to this one.

Visited the joint based on recommendation from hotel. Service was amiss based on how they structure the restaurant. Otherwise, I might have given the place four stars. You order by phone from your booth. So, you have limited contact with anyone. Getting refills and extras requires you to have to go request them which I’m not to fond of doing. Full range of menu items from pizza, to sandwiches, wings, salads and appetizers. Just about something for anyone. I had pizza and it was good. Good amount of sauce, a heaping of toppings and cheese. Pizzas were cut into squares rather than the normal cut which was different. Definitely would eat there again.

I will give this place a couple tick marks… they are normally pretty quick and their breadsticks are good. But with that, I hate the pizza and the atmosphere. The pizza is greasy and just doesn’t taste good in my opinion. I’ve never liked pizza king, I don’t know why people are addicted to it, other than the fact that it is based in tiny towns and sometime the only pizza place for a few miles. Fine for some people, but not me. I just don’t care for the flavor.

the only vegan option they had was salad(some iceberg lettuce with a couple carrot slivers) and lemon juice. none of their dressings were vegan and they didn’t even have oil and vinegar.
