Excellent breakfast… first cook in months that knows what ‘over medium’ means when preparing eggs. The hash browns were excellent, too. French toast was quite good. If their coffee had been better I would have given 5 stars, but it was only ‘ok’. The rest was top-​notch and tasty.
Highly recommended!

Hard to find, in the strip mall next to Home Depot. Great prices, big menu selection and lots of specials.

We’ve driven past this place several times and never knew it was here, mostly because we’ve never been in this shopping center in the morning. After scoping this place out we discovered that they serve breakfast all day, and are now open Thursday-​Saturday nights offering a dinner special. The menu is varied, and everything is fairly-​priced and/​or inexpensive. We ordered corn beef and hash, vegetarian (vegetable) omelette, spinach omelette, and a breakfast burrito; everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was attentive and offered enjoyable conversation and menu recommendations. We will return!

I’ve been here twice now. First time, I came here for lunch. I got the tuna sanwitch and crab soup special! Oh, man, the soup was amazing. It was so flavorful.
The second time was for lunch on Thanksgiving day. They had a Thanksgiving special, as well as their regular menu. I chose the coconut shirmp with potato soup and potato salad. Again, the soup was very delicious, you know how awesome when you eat homemade soup! The potato salad was great, it wasn’t so creamy or over sweet! The coconut shrimp was crispy and tasty! Also, the dipping sauce was gooooood.
After our meal, they served us pecan pie and pumpkin pie! I’m not a big fan of both pies, but I almost finished both of them! Lol We did have a great thanksgiving meal here!
Both times, the service has been fast and friendly. The restaurant is decorated ordinary. There’s nothing very special about this place, but everything comes together good. It will give you the family feeling because it’s relax, peaceful, and they do not have TV! The food is really good, which gets then an above average rating.
Will always come back!

Definitely a hidden gem. Finding this place is troubling, but worth every minute of the search! This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value.
First off, the food. We split the blackened fish with mashed potatoes & gravy, crab soup, a tuna salad sandwich, and a house salad. The salad was fresh and tasty. The soup was skimpy on the crab, yet very flavorful, the tuna salad sandwich was delicious and filling, and the blackened fish was fantastic!
The service was fast, and very friendly. We felt very welcomed, and there was no rush to order as we studied the menu. The dining area was very clean, and had my grandparents’ epoch décor. The atmosphere was casual & relaxed.
This is a home style restaurant, with a good menu, delicious & inexpensive food, and fast & friendly service. The value for my experience was unbeatable!

A part of me wanted to give this place 3 stars because every time I go in there I feel compelled to get busy working instead of eating and refurbish/​redecorate the place but because the over head is low, prices are reasonable and the food is consistently good and served by friendly staff I gave it 4 stars instead. It’s not a pretentious place and I appreciate that, especially when it shows on the bill.

First impression: eek… this looks kind of sketchy maybe I should turn around and walk out… glad I stayed. I hate when I go to a place for breakfast and I leave not enjoying the food I ate and my wallet is a lot lighter. There are so many places out there overcharging for breakfast and then not doing it right. Not Sunshine Café! Huge selection for breakfast! Hubby had half an order of biscuits & gravy and a side of bacon (4 pieces!!!) and I had 2 eggs, bacon, home fries, and a biscuit w/​side of gravy and a sweet tea. (WWWAAAYYY to much food for me to eat!!) our bill wasn’t even $ 13…NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Food wise it was cooked well. Keep in mind this is in the middle of Sun City which is why I assume they take it light on the salt or maybe not idk either way it was a little bland but there was salt on the table to fix it. I recommend the biscuits & gravy and sweet tea. Both excellent! If you order home fries make sure you get them well done, they could have been crispier. They aren’t like normal home fries either, they are super thin slices of potato. Service was also great. Our server Chelsea was attentive and very sweet. I think we might have found our nearby breakfast joint. ;-)

Exactly what I was looking for. Delicious food, great service priced right. Homemade food cooked well. Recommend the biscuits and gravy. Staff provides a family like feel.

Great place to stop for a bite. They are open for breakfast and lunch. When the snowbirds are here they serve dinner Thursday through Saturday. Everything is good and never had a bad meal. The wait staff is awesome and are attentive to what you need. They have daily specials and accept plastic
