The Inn at Little Harbor Restaurant

Intimate, romantic, fun, entertaining, well located, casual, refined, cheap, expensive. It is rare to find all theses adjectives fitting to the same place. Here’s a place that has the full package. I love how they include edible flowers in their menu though careful!, do not add anything else, there’s a fine line between classy and crowded. Live music next to the beach, how can you beat that? There’s the alternative of the tables inside the restaurant or the buffet. Stop by the bar just to have some fun and chat with locals. Have a moment with your loved ones watching breath taking sunsets. All this right on the beach. Servers are very friendly. One of my favorite places in the area.

I have spent, LOL, probably too many days & nights at the restaurant & lounge.
The New England Clam Chowder is almost always a solid bet. Nice, thick, creamy & chock full of delicious clams. On my last visit I had the clam chowder & a burger.
The burger was thick, juicy, well seasoned & cooked perfectly. The fries, though plentiful, were limp & disappointing, I have had much better at this location, but this time they were useless & not worth eating. The waitress didn’t seem to notice I did not eat the fries or much else about me.
The bun on the hamburger was stale and useless, as we’re the fries. The soup & burger portion, we’re quite good.
Let’s move to service or the lack of service. It was a weekday about 2PM, not busy at all. I don’t know maybe it was my waitresses break time or cash out time, but she never even inquired about my meal.
I went there for the beautiful view & didn’t want a discussion over the substandard food, it was my time to think, not debate with a waitress that defiantly did not care about customers. Even with the food issues, I would have given the restaurant 3*‘s, but considering the absolutely careless & don’t give a damp attitude by the waitress, I have to take away a star.
Let me say, with no doubt on different occasions eating and drinking there, I would have definitely given it 4 *‘s all the way & on occasion, maybe 5 *‘s. Sorry this time, I just can’t do it this time.
What’s a girl to do? Ruskin is quite a drive for lunch, to be dissatisfied.

On our regular trips down to the Tampa area. My wife and I decided to take her grandmother out to eat at this location. We have been there in the past. But this was our first time back since: A) a boat drove a shore and INTO the restaurant … And B) they changed their menu. (Lol). But we were so very happy with our decision to go here for lunch. They both had the fresh lobster rolls, which came with two overloaded New England style toasted buns… And what seemed like a pound of lobster… Two small ladies, pounded both rolls before I was done with my second fish taco (out of three!)
Also. I have to make special point to say… Some of the best fish tacos I have ever had in the state! And I do try a lot of them… Trust my bathroom scale! Get over here and try them. You will not be disappointed.

Not sure why there’s another entry for this location, but here we go.
This is really the best option in Ruskin, which while not a crowning achievement in the industry, is still a really good spot to bring visiting relatives or whatever. Sit outside and wait for a table. They’ve gotten their act together a bit about seating and waiting (thanks to a BOAT PUNCHING A HOLE IN THE PLACE!!), so that’s alright.
No more 2-​for-​1 beers and wines, so getting your drink on might get pricey. But the ambiance is exactly what you expect from a Florida beachfront restaurant without having to deal with those snob jagweeds in Clearwater.
The food is acceptable, the service is hit-​or-​miss, but the Bay is perfect.

We went to this restaurant tonight and was very disappointed. They told us the wait would be short and it was an hour and then our food took an hour. The order was mixed up and they said they would only charge me for the meal they brought! That’s no adjustment! The lettuce on the salad bar was not fresh and management was no where to be found! We will never go back to!
