VegiBus

The VegiBus brings local produce throughout the Tampa Bay area! I saw it near my office one day, and because I was busy, I wasn’t able to stop in. When I asked some coworkers, no one had ever heard of it. Finally, a few weeks later, I saw it again and made a point to stop in.
I was not disappointed! I picked up some fresh strawberries from Plant City, along with local honey from Ruskin, avocados, mangoes and bananas. The owner, Jeff, was very friendly and talked at length about getting started, his routes, and his growing practices. He has turned me into a customer for life!
NOTE: This is not a restaurant or what I would consider a «food truck» (restaurant with prepared food on wheels). Rather, it is what I would call a produce truck (basically, a travelling farmers market). The owner truly believes in bringing great produce to the people. GREAT CONCEPT and very, very appreciated!
