We stayed a couple months between selling our house and waiting for the next one to close. It’s not perfect but it’s safer than the other large RV park off I-​40 and definitely the showers are better than the ones at Dardanelle State Park (yikes!).
As of summer 2015 the owner won’t hire any help even though he’s remodeling his house in addition to park duties. Don’t bother with waiting around the office — even though the sign says it’s temporarily closed, it’s pretty much permanently locked up. The bathroom cleaners are available in the lounge if needed. :-\
Now for dog owners, this is a five star resort. There are 18 acres, mostly in the form of a huge meadow behind the park. Leashes required.
