I’m embarrassed to say that I eat here at least once a week. The food is that good and the wait staff is EXCELLENT. This is by far the best La Carreta in the area. My go-​to on the menu is the Quesadilla Texana. It’s huge and stuffed with shrimp, steak and chicken. If you like Mexican food, you won’t go wrong coming here.

We have tried several items on the menu and everything is always delicious. The staff are very friendly and with several servers who stay moving you never want for more drink, chips, etc. The prices are also very reasonable. We eat here around once a week and have never been disappointed. If you are very hungry I recommend the Quesadilla Grande (it is HUGE). For a lighter meal try the Talavera Special (it’s great with the tortilla chips).

Lynchburg, VA
This is the Best of the 6 or so La Carreta’s in the area. The food is always delicious and the waiting staff is very friendly. The cheese dip is always a must, and it has the chips are spectacular compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The prices are friendly, and the sweet tea is AMAZING! If you’re in the area, La Carreta is a must!
