Usually pretty good service always good to great food. I am a fan of the scatter load and pulled pork sandwiches. Try either with the jalapeño bread. It is not hot but complement the sandwich well. This is high praise coming from me because I make a great BBQ pork. I wish they had more sauce choices but what they have is good.
Friends of mine have had the beef ribs and loved them.

Favorite local BBQ spot. Cant go wrong with the brisket, ribs, chicken, or BBQ nachos. But my personal fave is the Scatterload sandwich! I’ve been known to eat 3 in one sitting. Owners are great too. They’re always mingling among the customers showing appreciation for coming in. Can’t wait for the new location and the new pickup window!

Best bbq in town, hands down. I work across the street from the only other bbq place and I’ll drive across town for bristers. Be prepared to wait at lunch and they run out of stuff a lot. I’m told this will be solved at the new location they’re currently building across the street. Great service and food is always consistent, you never get a bad meal there. One of my top 3 restaurants in town.

They have great BBQ with choices of pork beef etc. walk up and order and pay then you given your number for your meal. No French fries r offered but have other side choices such as chips or coleslaw

Smokey, juicy brisket. The beans are smokey and meaty also. My friend had the nachos, also good. Staff was over the top friendly. Definitely worth the stop — which explains the packed parking lot!

Had mine to-​go but I ordered half a chicken and a baked sweet potato. Both were delicious! I have food allergies (G/​D/​S/​N) so I didn’t try the bbq sauce.

I’ve been here about a dozen times since it was called Dowling’s. Good BBQ keeps me coming back. I’ve recommended it to friends and they all loved it. If I’m starving I get the platter otherwise the pulled rib sandwich, everything is tasty.

Pulled pork was excellent! Tender but not mushy, fabulous smokiness, lean and delicious. Husband had the beef brisket and that was outstanding, as well. Our sides were beans and coleslaw, also very good. Parking is plentiful and RV and bobtail friendly. We were told a truckstop is going to be built on the current site, but the restaurant will move across the street. Highly recommend!
