I’ve been to this company twice… They have a nice selection of furniture. I saw a mirrored chest with beautiful jeweled knobs. I didn’t get it because I wasn’t looking for a chest at that time. When I did go back to purchase the chest, after describing it to the older sales person, I was told that «it must have been something that the company sent and if you don’t see it on the floor we don’t have it.» It seemed he had no knowledge of the piece I described but more importantly, I felt he didn’t care. There was no attempt to see if the company could order another chest like the one I’d seen. Further, the salesman didn’t even try to save the sale by showing me something else that might have interested me. We walked out of this store and happily broke the bank at «Northside Furniture!» On my first visit the younger salesperson was excellent. They just didn’t have what I was looking for. On the second visit, the salesmen all looked like they should be retired and they didn’t care about the customer.

Ivan Smith Furniture has some good deals. We ended up buying our extremely affordable couch here because it was the best bargain we could find. We weren’t looking for a fancy couch, just something comfier than our futon that will last for the next four years and is within our extremely low price range. And voila!
said this place had the best prices. Little did we know that the Ruston location would outbeat the online prices, and had advertised on the windows even lower prices than listed online. We couldn’t leave empty handed (although we technically did since they ship 2 days later from Shreveport) and they even offer $ 30 shipping which is unheard of at other furniture places.
Totally worth it if you are looking for all types of furniture, not just cheap. They also had envy-​worthy beautiful stuff too. And the staff were all willing to help, the place was nicely organized. Definitely a place to add to the top of your furniture list!
