Golden Corral

Very overpriced. Don’t go here looking for the normal GC prices. It’s way more than I’ve ever spent here before. Food was good but lots of plates and silverware were dirty :/​won’t go again

It was ok. wish the service was a lil better. I had to wait a long time to get my Pepsi refilled. Besides that, it was what I expected it to be.

It’ll do in a pinch. The locals are friendly and welcoming, but this is a large traveler’s (read: trucker) area, so many people are just passing through. Despite the small size, the cook staff is VERY good about keeping the food bars well stocked and fresh. I’ve never had anything here that I thought was terrible and never had to wait more than a couple minutes for any one dish.
As for negatives, I’ve been here 3 times now and only once did I get a bad waitress. She passed by 5 times before we gave up on getting our drinks and meeting her. After getting our first bit of food, she had given us our drinks, but still never said a word to us, introduced herself, or let us know «I’ll be serving you today». She asked us if we had everything we needed early on, but later never stopped to ask if we needed refills on drinks (which is literally the only customer service you have to do at a buffet like this). We even did that thing where we placed our empty glasses near the end of the table, but to no avail. Sui basically, we paid almost $ 3 fir one glass of Pepsi. Hopefully this is an exception rather than a trend.
Also, a restaurant can’t really control their clientele, but the truckers CAN be a bit much. Most of them you won’t even know are truckers (except for their headsets), but when they have to wait in any kind of line, be prepared to hear their opinions on how either (a) there is nothing out here, (b) they should be letting the truckers go first because they have a job to do, or © a continuation of whatever sometimes-​inappropriate conversation they were having before they stepped in a restaurant.
Overall, it’s a great, relatively low traffic place to stuff yourself until your heart’s content. Clean, fresh, affordable… let’s be honest, if you’re looking at a review for a Golden Corral, that’s all you really want!
