Best Korean wings in the area. The spicy is powerful but delicious if you like a little heat. Soy garlic are tasty as well. If you like crispy crunchy wings then this is a must try. Staff is extremely friendly and always remember returning customers.

$ 12 for 6 drumsticks. It’s a little pricey and decent tasting but you’re better off with Bön Chon or another Korean fried chicken joint. Not impressed.

This place was awesome! I just walked not knowing you had to wait but it was really worth it. The chicken cooked really the breading wasn’t over done and the flavor was right on point. Unlike some places this served some really big pieces of chicken and the pricing is not bad at all. Definitely a place to go back to!

The best koren chicken ever by me… I love this crispy so tasty and good. Just call ahead otherwise you have to wait. But the wait is worth it…

Service was good, price is average, size of the chicken is small. For a family of 4 you need to order 2 of the largest combo.

Always call ahead with your order since they make them fresh to order. Really good Korean fried chicken! Crunchy with a sweet sauce over it is my favorite, but I also like the spicy garlic one. So delish! The fries are also really good and fresh.

Over priced, chickens was small and not much juicy :/ Dried. Wasnt prepared fresh. Its actually the worst Korean fried chicken I ever had. Only good thing is the sauce they use. Thats very tasty. Its only Korean friend chicken near the area. But still I will rather have some Chinese delivery fried chicken or Spanish/latino ones from Kearny. If you want to try some real Korean friend Chicken,(well you have to go to Korea but in alternative for something similar) try bon-chon, kyo chon, BBQ chicken(pal-pak, fortlee) and Ridefileds Hmart ToreOre(the closest original Korean fried chicken which has thicker fried flour), turntable(nyc)

I placed my order for pickup using the grubhub app and it was ready in under half an hour. Parking may be difficult to come by. I don’t think they have their own lot so you may need to turn into a side street to park. unless you’re lucky enough to find a spot on the main street and can parallel park. As for the food, the chicken was delicious. It was cooked and seasoned well: crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. They also give a generous amount of onion rings. Will definitely be returning!

I have no idea what they do to this chicken but it is amazing! Call ahead or be prepared for a short wait of 15 – 20 minutes. Even the pickled daikon radish is delicious. Fries — Excellent. There’s not much more on the menu; it matches the atmosphere of the minimalistic but very clean seating area. Only gripe I have is that the amount of coleslaw which came with my LARGE order of chicken was minuscule. I’m as hooked as Kramer was to Kenny Rogers chicken in the Seinfeld episode.

Similar taste and quality as BonChon chicken who recently opened a location in my hometown, Astoria Queens. Boom Boom chicken is clean and fairly priced. While there menu is limited, the chicken is finger-licking good that they don’t need to add anything else to their menu.

Came here after realizing there was another location other than the Fort Lee one and I must say I enjoyed Fort Lee more. This location is much smaller and we actually decided to take it to go after seeing the location itself. Not to say it wasn’t clean or anything. it just wasn’t very inviting. The chicken is excellent just like the other location, same super crispy skin with the delicious juicy chicken with a soy garlic sauce. The fries here weren’t as crispy as the other boom boom chicken so I was a little disappointed. This location you also have to call ahead about 20 mins before picking it up because everything is made fresh to order.

I’ve ordered from here twice and this is my new obsession of the moment. The service is great, but the chicken beats it all. From the moment it arrives the aroma just draws attention. Coworkers can’t help to ask what it is. The mild chicken was a little to bland for my taste, but the spicy chicken may be a bit much for some. I can take the heat but prefer the half and half. The seasoning is excellent, spicy enough to tickle your tounge and tease you with a hint of sweetness. Add the cruchy outside and that oh so succulently juicy inside… I’m sold. It’s simply addictive.

So this is a hard review. because I can go 3 stars to 5 stars depending on what’s important to you and what is excusable. I’m a fan of BonChon so of course I had to check it out. As for the taste definitely good Korean chicken wings. BUT also you know Korean chicken wings are always slightly on the expensive side and only good fresh and so takes a while to get your order. So if you’re hungry and looking for a quick and cheap meal, this is not it. But if you’re looking for that sweet and savory chicken and have some time, head over!

There’s definitely a BOOM of crispness flavor to this Boom Boom chicken. No need to travel up to Fort Lee area, this Rutherford spot has all you need for amazing, crispy, juicy, mild or spicy Korean fried wings. Best of all the lunch deal is awesome for less than $ 10, or you can grab a small order for $ 12, or if the hunger inside you cwalling $ 20 for the large order will set you in a lovely chicken food coma! We found this location thanks to Unilocal and the reviews are spot on! We’ve been here a couple times and will continue to go back due to their awesomeness =). Food: — Korean wings are on point for us! There’s nothing better than a double fried wing, that’s packs a boom of flavor and still offers juicy meat inside. — there are 4 meal options and we normally order the #1 or #2. We get the #1 when we want some drumsticks in the mix and go with the #2 when we want to wing it up. — flavors are soy garlic and spicy garlic. The soy garlic has a mild flavor and spicy garlic will make you get that gallon of water daily we need lol. Be warned my friends the spicy is Spicy, but ohh so flavorful. — the fries are awesome and double fried as well. Crispy and complements the wings. Boom boom does offer sides but we haven’t really tried them due to our love for fries. We love this location! Thank you Boom Boom for coming to Rutherford and giving us amazing Korean wing in this area. Give em and try and I’m sure any wing lover will love this spot, Enjoy y’all!

Very, very good. The prices are reasonable, and the Chicken is delicious. It does take a little while, so I strongly recommend ordering ahead. The dining room is pretty small, so I don’t recommend eating in. One word of caution, the«hot» wings are pretty spicy. I like spicy food, but these had me sweating pretty good. I have since decided that the mild wings are more my speed. All in all, very solid take-out fried chicken. 4 Solid stars.

I love crispy fired chicken and sometimes I may just peel off the crispy skin from chicken pieces and eat that instead of the chicken meat. I was told how good Korean fried chicken was but never experience it and never had the will to go to K Town. Then I found out that Korean Boom Boom Chicken from Fort Lee opening up in my town, Rutherford NJ, and now I had no excuses not to try it. I had the menu flyer and it recommend that I order 25 minutes ahead. So I did and asked for pick up of the the Large 6 piece drumstick, 10 wings combo for $ 20. With half the chicken with spicy spicy garlic sauce and the other half with mild garlic soy sauce. It comes with your choice of steam rice or coleslaw which I picked. Additionally I asked for some fries and onion rings. Their are only 6 items on the menu, with mozzarella sticks house salad beside the chicken and other items I ordered. I got there in twenty minutes and waited another ten or fifteen more minutes for my order. The place is small with only two or three 2 seat tables inside in case you want to eat there. They cook the and prepare the food in the back in a sub-room so you don’t know or see how it’s done I took my order home to eat and share. Both the spicy and mild chicken had a sweet and tasty candy coating. The double frying makes it real crispy but not dry. But the spicy spicy was already burning my tongue after the second piece and I stuck to the mild after that. The fries are also crispy and both the fries and onion rings where good, the coleslaw was also delicious but different from American style. I still do KFC when needing to do a big bucket with biscuits and the sides with extra fries, my old habits are hard to give up on. But Boom Boom is my choice if we only need a few pieces and is closer to me or that I have that craving for the garlic sauce taste. They have a fantastic $ 7 dollar lunch special 5 pieces with small salad and either rice or fries.

Love korean fried chicken and was so glad to see that there was one in rutherford since I would always have to drive to fort lee to get it. Decided to finally stop in last night to get some food. I got the 12 piece soy garlic mild wings with radish and it was absolutely delicious. Finished it all on my own and still wanted more. Could be a little bit pricey compared to other fried chicken places but it’s worth it. Beats KFC or Popeyes by a long shot. Haven’t tried anything else on their menu yet but will definitely be coming back for more. Remember to order about 30 min beforehand because they make the wings fresh on the spot and if you go in to order, you will be waiting for a little while. They are also on grubhub and deliver, $ 20 minimum.

I’m a pretty big fan of KFC(Korean fried chicken). There aren’t too many of these places in southwest bergen county, so this is a pretty good location for this type of food. I tried the lunch special for $ 7. Its pretty good and it wasn’t too greasy. The chicken tasted clean and fresh. I got 5 pieces of chicken, unfortunately you can’t choose which types of chicken, its a mix of wings and thighs, salad, and a choice or steamed rice or French fries. I have only gotten takeout here so I can’t comment about the dine in experience. I did see two tables or so, for dine in there. You have to call 20 mins before you pick it up because the chicken is made fresh to order. I think its a little less time for the lunch specials because its pre-made, in anticipation of the lunch hour rush.

I came here on a friday for lunch. We called ahead with our order, and they had it ready on time for us. I have had Bön Chon before and it is similar. I do like Bön CHon better which is why i’m giving it a 4 and not a 5. However, it is still extremely good. ITs the type of thing you cant eat all the time if you want to live long, but if i’m going to have fried chicken. KFC is the thing to get(Korean Fried Chicken) people! $ 7 lunch deal and you get 5 pieces either hot or mild or half half. I got half and half and liked them both. The spicy is not too hot. ITs just a nice little kick. You also get a small side salad and either fries or rice. I got the fries which were ok. The guy working was friendly and got us in and out quickly since we told him we had a short amount of time. PS– parking can be a little difficult during lunch time so just be aware!
