HORRIBLE! They said come at 7 for pick up and I come at 630 an they are closed. Very unreliable! Also extremely RUDE do not go there!

While the lady behind the counter is always nice, I’d say that their service is average at best as far as dry cleaners go. We took our couch cushion covers in for cleaning and while they came back pressed, they really didn’t look any cleaner. They’re white, so it was easy to inspect the job done. There’s plenty of dry cleaners in this area, so try around.

As far as dry cleaners go, this place is the best in town. The woman who runs the joint is incredibly caring for her customers. I had a tare in the pocket of my suit pants and was leaving for a conference in 3 hours. Not expecting much, I stopped in to ask for a quick repair job. Not only did she immediately run out to their taylor, she got the pants back to me within 45 minutes. While thanking her, she said«of course, you’re my customer.» They also offer delivery service which is very helpful. They’ve never lost anything and they even match your socks! Finally, your clothes(dry cleaning and laundry) are both cared for and treated carefully. Everything comes out pristine!

This place is the WORST place I have ever been to for tailoring services. I had had a few issues with them in the past, where they charged me for services they did not perform, or when they did not alter my clothing according to my specifications, but they had accommodated me(somewhat) and I decided to give them another shot. I mean they seem to have been in business for a while, so they must be doing something right, right? Wrong. I stopped by a few days ago to drop off a very expensive evening gown(retail over $ 600) to be hemmed and taken in in the back. When I walked in, Sue, the owner of the place, began angrily asking why I had written a bad review of her store online.(I had never written a bad review for any place in my life.) Completely bewildered, I explained to her I wrote no such review, and that I obviously would not have gone back there if I had. She said ok but never apologized for her accusations, and looking back I should have walked out of there right at that moment, but I was on my lunch break and really wanted to get these alterations done. Anyway, back to the dress– I had bought it for a very special wedding, and I wanted it to fit perfectly. When I tried the dress on, I specifically asked Sue if she thought that tapering it in the back could be done properly without ruining the style of the dress, and she assured me it could. I asked her if she could have it done in 2 days, and she said«no problem». I picked the dress up two days later, and tried it on there. The hem seemed to be ok, but the tapering in the back was atrocious. There was too much material on one side of the zipper, creating a puckering of the fabric, and a large and very visible bump along the zipper, effectively giving me a long TAIL. Even as a non-professional I could tell that she did not take it in properly on the one side, and the dress looked terrible in the back.(I have pictures if anyone would like to see.) I did not want my money back at that point, I simply wanted the dress to be fixed properly in time for my event. Instead of being apologetic or accommodating, Sue went on about how it was barely noticeable and asking why I was«complaining». She said she could not fix it in time for my event, and did not offer to take that portion of the charge off of my $ 43.00 bill. Instead, knowing that the alterations were done incorrectly and that the dress was not even in the back, she demanded payment in full, and would not release my dress until I paid for the whole amount. Another man, who I believe is Sue’s husband, was just as, if not more rude to me. I paid for the alterations because I did not want to leave the dress there, but I am disputing this charge on my credit card. I was forced to purchase a different dress for the wedding, and eventually will have to pay another seamstress to correct the damage that they did. I may even take them to small claims court if the dress cant be fixed properly. I have never met a more incompetent business owner or seamstress, and have never encountered such poor customer service in my life. Save yourself the headache and do not go to this money-hungry, poor excuse for an establishment. If you want alterations done right and to be treated with respect, DONOT step foot into West End Cleaners. Oh and Sue, if you’re reading this, congratulations on being my first negative review. Keep up the poor work.

I have been going here for years and will not go anywhere else. I have tried other cleaners and they just don’t compare. Excellent quality for my husband’s shirts and my alterations always come out great. I started coming here after I brought in my wedding dress. They did such a great job with it, from how they packaged it and to the cleaning… after that experience, I’ve trusted them with everything else. I can always give them a call to pick up my clothes and drop them off even though I live a town over.

Ok so I wanted to sew in padding cups inside my new bathing suit. I bought her the cups and she told her it would be $ 13. It’s overpriced but whatever. That same day, my sister had brought her a bikini to have cups sewn in, as well. Sue, the owner, was there and pinned the cups where they were supposed to be sewn in. They agreed that it would be $ 13 for that. She also brought in a dress with cut two slits in it and two shirts to be taken in. A few days later, I came to pick up all of our items. Well, my NEW, NEVERBEENWORN bathing suit was DIRTY when I went to pick it up. When I told her about it, she said that she didn’t make a note of the condition of my bathing suit. I showed her the tags that were still on it. She refused to clean it. Then, the seamstress just inserted the cups inside the slip that was already on my sister’s bikini top ANDCHARGEDHER $ 13ANDDIDNOTTELLHERABOUTTHISCHANGE. Also, she only did one slip instead of two, which they agreed on. In addition to that, both shirts needed to he taken in more. All in all, this place is too expensive for the poor quality and service they provide. I recommend that you do not go to this establishment. There are plenty of good dry cleaners in the area. They just want to take your money.
