Otherwise known as 88.7 FM (WNCW) out of Spindale. I figured it was about time I reviewed the stations that both keep me entertained and sane on my long drives to and from work. From 6 –7 AM they have Mountain Mornings where they play straight up Bluegrass. Never thought I’d like Bluegrass but this show is really good. They use NPR programs for their news — mainly Morning Edition. World Café in the evenings and for night owls Alternative programming from 1 – 4 AM. Just a great variety of music — Blues, Rock, Alternative — an ecclectic blend. And when I lose the signal I turn to 90.7 WFAE, my next review.
