The pizza here is TODIEFOR. Incredibly made. Aside from the food, the beer and wine selection is really good and the service has always been great! Dessert is super too! All around a great experience and I’ll continue to go back!

We called ahead and put our name on the list. We were told 45 min. and it was around there, so that wasn’t bad. What’s bad is if you are left to wait it’s a very tiny spot to wait, no seats, you are literally squished with others. Once seated, we waited only a few min. until the waitress came and asked for drinks. Once we ordered, we waited 1 hour, YES, 1 hour until our food arrived. We were not the only ones. All of the tables around us were waiting on food and 2 tables made a large scene due to the fact their food wasn’t ready. We kept being told it was coming. our particular waitress was nice, but I did overhear other waitresses having a bit of an attitude. I wouldn’t have wanted that job. The hostess, blonde woman probably in her early 50’s said, «they can go fuck themselves» while in the kitchen area to the waitress that was dealing with one of the upset couples. I didn’t say anything because we had my 2 young boys with us(luckily they didn’t hear it) and I was not in the mood to make a scene as we were supposed to be celebrating a weekend away for mother’s day. It was our 1st and last time there. The food was gross. My fettucini was overcookied as was the chicken and a big pool of alfredo sauce was dumped on top. My boys pasta arrived without the butter they asked. not a huge deal but a pain. My husband had prime rib, king cut, which was huge. he said it was okay but not the best. What was good was the dessert. Homemade carrot cake, peanut butter pie & the chocolate bread pudding. We all shared. It was given to us free due to our waiting. Small restaurant. they do have a lounge in a separate area.

Food was very good and attentive service. One of the best boneless buffalo tenders and loved the large portions. The dining area consisted of a smaller space so it can feel loud. Definately would come back.

Came for drinks and food with friends. The mixed drinks were awful, way too strong(not ones to complain about strong drinks, but one tasted like straight rubbing alcohol). The man working behind the bar was our server(we were at a high top in the bar area) and it took at least half an hour before he came to get our order. He was joking and friendly, but the speed of the service was horrendous. The server came to grab an empty glass off the table but walked away before asking if we wanted anything else. We won’t be back.

Twice now we have used this restaurant as a post-funeral gathering spot and both times the food and the service was outstanding. Making arrangements here with Bill was the easiest thing ever and the selection of food was great. We fed 30 people and had plenty of leftovers to take home for guests. The service was extremely good. Keeping 30 people happy is not an easy task, but Tigger made it seem effortless with her personal touch. Thank you Bill and staff for preparing such a wonderful, comforting meal on such difficult days.

Was told about place by local person paving driveway because Ladd is my last name & because he said on Sundays & Wednesdays seniors get discount. So we went w/out GPS on their directions which meant going on 202 forever but it was worth it. We both had duck done two different ways both scrumptious. Now some 8 years later we wish to go again because oddly enough duck being one food item not prohibited on husband’s diet. Imagine being told no red meat or any seafood. Since we no longer live in New England we thought Ladds head for Ladds. My only regret is we can’t hold Ladd family reunion @ there because it would appear it’s in middle of no where although am still researching. If your name is Ladd you don’t get discount – already asked.

Decent food, decent prices… Pizza was like eating Sand. The person who makes the pizza uses way too much cornmeal and I’ve heard this from others as well. So I’ll never order another pizza but would other menu items. Dining room is old and outdated. Needs some improvements. But other than that not a bad local place!

I live very close to this restaurant and the food is amazing. The only problem is that the staff are VERY rude. This is literally the third time I’ve walked in and have been ignored for 5+ minutes. It’s very discouraging.

The service is great. All of their food is made fresh and the servings are generous. There is nothing frozen or canned here. The prime rib is excellent!

Tried Ladd’s about a month ago and I was disappointed with the food, but they did have very good service. I found most items to be under seasoned. We had ordered an appetizer of pretzels and they tasted like they were frozen and heated in a microwave. The cheese sauce that came with them was very bland. I had a steak with a mushroom sauce for my entrée, again very bland. The sides for the entrees were served on separate plates, which was a little strange. My husband asked for broccoli as one of his sides and literally received one large broccoli stem on a separate plate. Seems like we would have been better off trying the sandwiches. The server was very nice and efficient though.

Yum! Good food, good service but gets packed. Don’t eat in the dining room unless you are over 65 years old. It looks like an old person’s home in there. The bar and lounge are really nicely decorated and have conveniently located tvs tuned to the popular games on that night. Delicious pizza now for pick up too! There fries are not delicious lately though — go back to your old recipe!!!

This restaurant has literally been here for about 100 years. I know someone that worked here in the depression(1930’s). Décor is dated but well maintained. Seating is close. Staff was very prompt and pleasant. The menu is large. Prices were average(but did not reflect the same on the bill). Most entrees come with soup or salad. The shrimp scampi contained 6 jumbo shrimp. There was too much oil and the pasta was virtually non existent. All things considered the shrimp made it work it. The blacked chicken Alfredo was huge. Not as spicy as I would have liked but very good meal. The peanut butter pie was also large. The brownie Sunday contained a rather thin brownie but the ice cream and whip cream made it a meal.

Very nice and attentive staff. Large portion for my meal and the cocktail. It was cozy and festive. I had the whitefish(haddock?) and it was tender, moist and delicious. I had to spend two hours there awaiting my teen’s visit with friends in the area… no one rushed me. A good find with a menu with lots of choices.

Honestly, if there is a Sunday where I am not going to Ladd’s for dinner, my entire week is thrown off. This restaurant has the best food around with a special’s menu that changes weekly, and ingredients that are incredibly fresh. I’ve lived in the UK for a year, yet I still prefer Ladd’s Fish & Chips to any other. Their prime rib makes any occasion a special occasion. And my go-to«I’m sort of hungover but still hungry» meal will forever be the Blackened Chicken Alfredo.
