I went here for a manicure and pedicure. The place had a steady stream of customers so I was thinking I was going to get a good service. I sat down and an older woman started doing my pedicure, she spent most of the time looking off and talking in another language, rarely did she even look at my feet. The massage part of the pedicure was a joke, she just touched me with lotion and then rubbed it off and the sloppily painted my nails, no top coat or anything. When I asked that she fix a messed up part she just wasn’t able to, just kept running the nail polish remover over the same spot and looking at me expectantly. The manicure was where it got really bad. The manicure table was disgusting, covered in nail dust and the man came over, looked at my nails then roughy rubbed a filthy used nail file over them, then went back to another person who’s nails he was working on. This while time his hand where filthy, covered in her nail dust, there was no suggestion that anything would be cleaned or washed during this Experince. After sitting there awkwardly for a few minutes I suggested mabe I should soak my nails? Another woman that worked there yelled at me to «give him a minute». He waited a beat and brought over a bowl of cool water with some dish soap in it. Very relaxing… The rest of the manicure included more dirty tools, he filed and did my cuticle. No lotion, no massage, nothing spa like. The paint was ok but I had to put top coats on at home. Total cost was $ 45. Not sure what I just paid for but these people defiantly need to use some basic hygiene and sanitation efforts and act like they give a hoot, people pay good money for nail service. Only positive thing is it is slightly better then the hell hole at the Rutland mall.
