Rutland House of Pizza

Good pizza and subs, Just what you want in a semi-​rural pizza place.

Ordered steak and cheese, Italian sub and large pizza. Food was great! Good food and FAST delivery– they told us it would take 45-​hour for delivery and it arrived in under 30 minutes! Still piping hot when it arrived! Thanks RHOP! Definitely be ordering again soon!

We promised our young son pizza but needed it delivered because I was away and my husband doesn’t drive.. My husband called Rutland House of Pizza and was told they had a delivery person. We live about 3 miles away. My husband was quoted $ 17 for a large cheese pizza and a 2 liter of Pepsi. He called me and I said that sounded outrageous but because we promised I told him to go ahead and order. (I assume a large cheese and soda if picked up wouldn’t be more than $ 13). I figured the rest was a delivery charge. When the delivery driver arrived he told my husband the price was $ 19.50! My husband gave the driver $ 20 and called the place again and asked how much it would be for a delivery (same foods). He was told $ 16. So my husband asked why an hr ago it was $ 17 and now $ 16 and why was he then charged by the driver $ 19.50. The man answering said he didn’t know what he (my husband) was talking about and then hung up on him.
Not only was it a total rip off but my husband told me the pizza was terrible.
I will never order from them again.

I have been waiting 40 minutes for a chicken parm sub. These people have
no idea how to run a pizzeria. And the place is a dump. I would leave if I hadn’t paid already.

Good Greek style pizza, plus a friendly staff.

Good pizza, long waits sometimes but so much better than Heavy Evie’s across the street. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.
