Review is for take-out. Food came quick and hot. Ordered the greenhouse-veggie burger with onion rings and truffled parm fries. The patty was a pea, carrot, oat base. Slightly sweet and savory pan fried. The burger came with two patties– too much for me to finish. It also came with a genius portion of guac, arugala with a balsamic drizzle. Really tasty all together. Onion rings were tasty and came with a delicious spicy cream sauce. The truffle fries were awesome! Will be ordering again from here!

Ordered take out today and the inside of the container was lined in dirt and dust. Gross and disturbing to see your food encased in grime. I called to let the restaurant know. I told the person who picked up the phone the situation and I wanted to speak to the manager. She said the manager could not speak to me and I can just email a photo to him. How poorly handled! So disappointed — and frankly, grossed out.

I would just like to say the exact problem with Unilocal… Most people who go to a restaurant and enjoy it don’t go and write a review, it’s more likely if you have a bad time that you will write a review! JUSTSAYING!!! The rye brook branch is fantastic! The food is delectable and I have always found the service impeccable. I’ve been coming here for years but never felt the need to write a review or even check the Unilocal page it wasn’t until I was told by a friend that I was taking here that she would rather go somewhere else after reading all the reviews. Well here is my most recent dining experience on April 27th Hostess was completely competent and sweet from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. she was completely amenable to moving our table to a quieter area despite the restaurants main dining area being packed with a party! Our server is one we have had time and time again, always reliable and chatty. As I must say all the wait staff is, from my experience. Onto the food! Had the salmon, which some would say«at a BURGER place WHY?!?» Well I’ll tell you why, because it is fantastic! My husband ordered a burger with all sorts of add ons and as always he enjoyed it. Our friends got burgers as well and all had glowing reviews. We sat and chatted for a while while we enjoyed some coffee. All in all a quite common experience for us at WBC! If I were to voice a complaint, if at all, it would be that the man, who I assume is the manager, I have seen yell at a couple waitresses in my time, one of them being his daughter I believe!(Unless she calls her manager dad YIKES!)

Lots of burgers! Stopped in on our way home from philly to ct. We were exhausted and starving and felt like a burger. Hostess was no where to be found when we arrived but appeared a couple minutes later and was wicked rude. Not a great start. We were seated in a large dining area and only waited a couple minutes til the waitress arrived. Ordered 2 root beers as we had imbibed too much all weekend. She brought ice cold glasses, nice touch. I had the Napa burger Med rare which was delicious and my honey had the firehouse burger medium which he said was Meh and a little dry. French fries were good. Server was a little pushy and thought she was being cute but she was just being annoying. If not so tired or full would have loved to try a milkshake.

Tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. When we first arrived no one was standing at the desk to greet us and let us know the status of the table which I found a little odd. Once the hostess finally came over we were seated pretty fast. The layout of the restaurant is petty spacious and the waiter was pretty good. The BBQ wing appetizer was great, crispy wings with a good amount of meat on them. Very tasty. The burger I decided to try was called the entourage. Which was terrible. Way to much bread for my liking. There were two slice of bread on top with cheese in the middle then the burger then two more slices of bread on the bottom with cheese in the middle. Huge burger which lacked flavor. I would avoid this burger at all cost. Wanted this place to be good but it just didn’t do it for me.

I love the Ruben rolls but that’s where the love affair ends. Have been here a few times and can never get past the lack of flavor and the high prices and weird service. Staff always looks tentative and unsure and no one ever smiles. Took my son our for a holiday lunch and we ordered one appetizer, each had a soda and a burger and with tip $ 60. Pricey and bland and not even fun.

Good place to go for a quick burger. The fish and chips are good and the ribs are excellent. I would like to see better menu items for those who don’t want a burger but enjoyable. The ambience is nice with a roaring fire in the fireplace on cold nights. There is a small room for private groups of about 10 ppl, which I have used before… nice and private… good place for a business dinner.

I’ve been there a few times now. The food is pretty good. The size of the place is great. You aren’t on top of everyone. My main issue is with the bartender. I’ve had her on two occasions. Both times she was rude and made mistakes. Her name is Jill. All she seems to care about are her friends. She completely ignores customers she doesn’t know. I’ve spoken to other friends who have been there and they say the same thing. One time my girlfriend and I were at the corner and she would complain about customers. You ask her for something and she rolls her eyes or gives you an attitude. I won’t be frequenting this establishment as much as I would like to because I want to go to place to unwind… not to get attitude.

The service here is great– everyone has a smile and is happy to serve you. Every single employee working say goodbye and have a nice night as we left. That being said, maybe they were so nice because the food is terrible and they wanted to make up for that. With the exception of an amazing nutella milkshake, the food was mediocre at best. We started with the calamari– yes, this is a burger joint so that was probably poor judgement. It had to have been frozen breaded rings they brought back to life. Not very tasty. Next we tried the Pretzel Burger(beef, cheddar, maple glazed bacon and an egg) which would have been awesome if it wasn’t sitting in a pool of grease with a soggy bun upon arriving at the table. We also tried the Bison Burger(bison, arugula, truffle oil and blue cheese). This was much better and was not sitting on a soggy bun.

Found the food to be just OK for the price and the service sub par. Burgers were overly greasy, more than any burger should be. The server was awful. After our food came out, he didn’t return to our table of 8 until we had finished and was surprised when we asked for refills! We ordered desert but he brought the check out before the desert was delivered.

We live within walking distance of this place and over the past several years we only came 3 times. This is why. The service sucks!!! We sat at the bar and waited 15 minutes before the bartender came around. We ordered 2 beers for starters. Saw her pour it and left it there for 5MINUTES. We got the beers and they were cool not cold. We were starving. I ordered a burger medium well done and my wife had the prime rib. The food came out 15 minutes later. It was barely warm. Her food was ok mine was a piece of charcoal! Didn’t want to wait another 15 minutes for a burger so i unhappily ate it. I couldnt finish it. Place use to make great burgers. Now it just a dump with diner food. VERYDISAPPOINTING!!! WEASKEDFOROURCHECK10MINUTESAGOANDSTILLWAITING!!! They gave us a free beer cause i had to go to the kitchen to get butter and A1 sauce for my wife. They felt bad. Sad. Only like 20 people here. Guess i wont ever be back. :(place used to be great.

I like to go for happy hour at least once per week and for lunch on Saturdays; the appetizers and selection of beers/wines are pretty good. However, the five star review is for the service. If you go there during the day on Saturday there is a bartender named Gina who is an absolute delight. Also, I was pretty impressed this morning when I sent an email over a discrepancy regarding my credit card and the bill from the day before. The owner called me back in less then 10 minutes… I repeat, less than 10 minutes. I was EXTREMELY impressed by this and will continue to go there and bring my friends.

I’d give this place four stars except for one detail you really want to pay attention to. The food is exquisite for a small chain. Brutally good Bison burger. The Mac and Cheese varieties are the best, we recommend the roasted pepper and ranch one. The service was also great, we were taken care of quickly and the waitress was very nice. The problem I had is we ordered two virgin Pina Coladas expecting them to cost five bucks or so each. When we got the bill, the two drinks totaled 20 dollars and we were told the version with alcohol costs 12 each. This just strikes us as bonkers — and we eat in big cities regularly, from Manhattan to London to Vegas: this has to be the worst price tag I’ve seen on two non-alcoholic drinks. Ever.

Save yourself and go to the WBC in white plains. I tried this place simply because the WP location wasn’t as close to where we were. Slow, poor service, cold food, and a lazy manager who was dressed as if he was going or came from the gym. Instead of providing extra service to tables in need, he walked around chatting up his friends even sitting down at one point and ignored his responsibilities.

Great location. Great food and great service. Entourage is the best burger and I love to add bacon to it sometimes. Much better than the WP location.

We met a larger group of friends here for brunch/lunch on a Sunday, and they were super accommodating and attentive. I had the Pretzel burger and it was well-cooked and tasty. My husband had the lemon pancakes and really enjoyed them. We had a good experience at Westchester Burger in Rye Brook.

called in an order and was told it would be 20 minutes… got there after 20 minutes and then I waited for 15 more minutes… The girl at the desk said it wasn’t ready yet, not only was it ready but it was in the coat room right next to her the whole time. I ordered a «south beach» salmon burger. It was literally a giant slab of salmon on a bun. I asked for a house salad on the side and got an 8oz soup cup with a handful of mixed greens and 3 pieces of chopped tomato. I ate the pumpernickel bun… That was really good.

I was with«The Joes,» the authors of the«Keystone Tombstones» series, as they were working on their new series«Gotham Graves.» After we were done with our first day — having been to Alexander Hamilton’s grave near the World Trade Center, Grant’s Tomb on the west side of Manhattan, and some other graves near Westchester, we headed to the Hilton in Westchester. After we checked in, we headed out to find a nearby restaurant and stumbled upon Westchester Burder Company. We were very pleased with the service and quality of the food. If you like burgers, they have a variety of gourmet possibilities. They also have a full-service bar. Our waiter, Andrae, was excellent. We highly recommend Westchester Burger Company for a casual meal and conversation.

This is very simple — go to the Westchester Burger in White Plains. It has the same menu, but the food always tastes better there. For example, one of my favorite items is the Salmon Burger. It is a whole piece of salmon with slaw, tomato, etc. on a bun. Every time that I had it in White Plains, it was tasty, hot and perfectly cooked. Here, it seems to be always overcooked and cold. I did get great service from Gina. I think that she is trying to make up for the other servers mentioned in other reviews. She was friendly and helpful. She made recommendations and even offered to let us try substitutions at no cost. So, I appreciate her effort.

I want to like this place. I really do. I am here about once a month, and the experience is always the same: Decent food, service on the slower side of acceptable, and a bar staff that need electro shock therapy and a dictionary with«hustle» and«service» bookmarked. I tended bar for years. It was explained to me this way: we charge people $ 20 for something they can have at home for $ 3. The difference is the service and the experience. These guys don’t get it. If I am about to pay $ 14 for a *hamburger* then I want my pre meal cocktail experience at the bar to have bar staff who remain behind said bar, have their heads up, and who don’t make me wait when there isn’t a crowd to justify any wait at all. Instead these people leave for the kitchen all the time, ignore my frantic waving of a twenty, and talk with each other instead of the customers. If you aren’t a bar person, then be prepared for $ 14 burgers served by staff who can’t wait for their shift to be over so they can get back to their apartment and cram for their English Lit or Psych 101 exam.
