STAYAWAYNEWOWNER!!! i was a customer of Andys for years, however be aware it has been sold! The new owner is a woman who is not using Andys quality or recipes! The quality has gone down hill and the prices have been raised! My husband brought home Andys for dinner and upon unpacking the food before even tasting I knew it was not the same quality! The quinoa burgers were packed onto of all my other food(By the way they now look more like a pancake instead of a burger) They were tasteless and fell apart. The kale salad was a huge helping of kale and kale alone.(Not even a dressing or a spice) !!! STAYAWAYNEWOWNERSANDQUALITYPOOR!!!

Great price on juices and juice cleanses. Totally accommodating and will deliver to quite a large radius. Andy seems to be very involved with all aspects and it shows that he cares about the customer experience. The store is very clean. The food is super healthy and fresh. They are now offering a discount card where you pay $ 200 for the card and receive $ 250 in dollars to spend there. I love Organic Pharmer but Andy’s is much more affordable.

I’ve been here a number of times but never took the time to write a review. Westchester County needs more places that serve raw, fresh, organic options. The ingredients are always fresh and everything prepared in-house. It’s my go to place for healthy, fast food. You get to choose from a wide variety of buffet style options but keep in mind you are paying by the pound, so choose wisely if you are budgeting. They also have a variety of smoothies and juices for those that want to subscribe to the cleanse program. There are plenty of tables to dine-in or just take the food out. Never had a bad experience here and doubt you will.

My family and I were looking for a healthy and delicious lunch with gluten free options while on the road. This was an excellent find! Be sure to leave room for dessert! The gluten free cheesecake and banana bread were fantastic!

I really like the food here. It’s actually amazing! They have a small retail section with great stuff. My meat eating friends, vegan and vegetarian friends all enjoy it here as well. When I’m in town I go here just about every day. I just wish the staff other than the manager was more friendly and that they would wash their hands after taking money. After I’ve been here two dozen times a warm welcome by the cashiers would be nice. Even just a smile… Re hands: Putting gloves on only helps if your clean hands touch the clean gloves when you push them onto your hands. Beware: If the mgr isn’t present and you go late the staff will have the food put away before closing time. So consider closing time to be a half hour to 45 minutes before closing time like I now do so sometimes I skip it even though technically they are open. I understand its a large operation to shutdown — its just that they close early for a dinner place so sometimes it’s hard to make it in time. Obviously I keep coming back for a reason. I love supporting a small biz owner and as a super healthy eater it’s one of few awesome choices for eating out.

Ordered deliver. Food was delicious but the sandwich was by far the smallest I’ve ever seen. The broccoli soup was amazing.

The food looks great and you’re guaranteed healthy choices … But the smoothies and milks, e.g., cashew milk, are too expensive: 9 dollars for a small serving of cashew milk? The cashier could barely tell me with a straight face. Maybe some other time.

*Updated: Ridgefield Location. And… out of business. *Update: Ridgefield Location. Drove to this place and walked in today, arriving at 5:45pm, to get two smoothies. No one was at the front of house. Cleaning noises and chatter out back. Another pair of customers came in right after us. I finally whistled to get someone’s attention. We were all told«sorry, no smoothies, we’re closing up.» If a smoothie joint(and still relatively new business) can’t serve smoothies during their posted business hours to four customers, the writing may be on the wall. Update: *8/1 sorry, no fresh juice, juicer is broken. *8/2 Hi, is the juicer fixed? «Yup…but we’re low on ice.» So… can I get a fresh juice? «Nope.» 8⁄7 Hi, can I get a juice? «No, sorry. No one is back there [in the kitchen, to make a juice.» 8⁄8 Hi, can I get a fresh juice? [owner] «No, sorry we don’t make fresh juices. We have these cold-pressed juices.» [gestures towards a small refrigerated case with juices in plastic bottles.] I see — that seems like a challenge — I think most people expect to be able to get a fresh juice from a juice bar.“ [owner] «These are better — they are cold-pressed.» I’m sorry, but the argument that the previously-juiced juices, sitting in plastic bottles, most of them separated from sitting(aesthetically unappetizing) for who-knows how long, is better than a freshly made juice, I’m not prepared to accept. This is not really a juice bar. It is a depot for juices made previously and, likely, elsewhere, for sale out of a refrigerated case. I want the place to succeed, but I don’t think this will work. Not to mention that there is already a similar business in town, just up the road. Other than myself, the owner was the only other person in the store, at 2:30pm on a Saturday. A quick shift in focus to a fresh juice, smoothy and salad bar — removing the faux-medicinal/therapeutic marketing, and I think the place would be busy. Summer is the season for juices/smoothies. If it is dead in this store now, what is winter going to look like?

I’m rating the one in equinox located in mamaroneck, the food is consistent and the juices to go are awesome for a quick on the go get me up. Everything at this location is great and parking is hardly ever and issue. I want to make more people aware of this location and aware that there is amazing organic food waiting for you in mamaroneck and rye. Health is an investment.

Really fresh and tasty salad bar with prepared mixed cold raw and cooked salads available for dine in or take out. Prices reflect the quality of food, there is no value menu. They also serve fresh juices and shots of wheatgrass. Detox programs are available. I really enjoyed the lemon, avocado, and tomato salad. The roasted eggplant veggie salad was amazing and the chickpea with parsley salad was light and refreshing! Worth a visit if you are in town and want something healthy.

Vegan mecca in Rye. Lots of pre-made food to go, as well as smoothies and juices. They also offer a $ 300 juice cleansing package. $ 300. For juice. Gotta love those Westchester prices! The ambiance at Andy’s is very pleasant and the staff was sweet as pie, but the flute heavy new age music they play is absolutely terrible. I can’t imagine that anyone really likes to listen to that hippie nonsense. Does anyone like this stuff? As for the juice, I went with the Iron Maiden which had spinach, parsley, carrot, cilantro, and grapefruit. It was pretty good. But 9 dollars good? Not really. I’ve had better fresh made juices and most weren’t 9 bucks. But, it’s Rye and to be expected.

I stopped in for a quick healthy meal while I was on the road. I was surprised that a place like this existed outside of big cities. I had the tofu sandwich with freshly squeezed juice. The prices were extremely unclear and what I though was going to be 8 – 12 dollars for a small juice and sandwich actually set me back 16 dollars without a tip. The food I ate was good, but it is not worth that much. If I had known how ridiculously expensive it was, I probably wouldn’t have gone.

3.5 stars I really enjoyed Andy’s, but there’s nothing quite like it in the DC area which no doubt makes it more of a novelty. The chia seed pudding wasn’t oversweetened, and my quinoa burger wasn’t bad. Seemed to strike a nice balance between raw gourmet and salads(along with some cooked options). If I had this nearby I would not only eat there everyday, but I’d be looking damn good doing it. If they used coconut milk w/the pudding, it’d taste even better. Sandwich bread was gluten free. They may wanna offer paleo wraps for extra cost. Def gonna hit they up again when I’m back in Westchester.

The place needs more English speaking people. Food is good, the soup I had, all vegetable, had too many shreds of celery in it left, yuk. also, they are constantly running out of Almond– water-had to wait too many times for them to make it. And it’s early in the morning, like 10!!? I did NOT like that while I was eating there, the man was swiping the floor with the broom next to me. Really!!! AG the same time, when I went to the bathroom, it was EXTREMELYFILTHY! Now I am having second thoughts about buying food from them– who knows how clean is the kitchen???

Overpriced — period. Not to mention, it’s not that good for the price. I like to see gluten free, vegan establishments so Im giving it two stars for that. Plus, the vegan cheesecake is really good. However, the smoothies are insanely expensive and somehow not that good. How do you mess up an all fruit smoothie? The last one I got tasted chalky despite there being no protein powder listed in it. The raspberry lemonade juice tasted like a nasty grapefruit ginger concoction(and i juice at home so I’m used to weird juice!) When i asked about there not being ginger in the ingredients list they said well you know it all gets mixed in the blender sometimes. For $ 8 a smoothie you can do better than that! I’m done eating at Andy’s.

I’m shocked by all the great reviews for Andy’s…maybe Westchester just doesn’t have any good vegan restaurants? I came in for a quick lunch and got the Tofu Guacamole. It took them over 10 minutes to make the sandwich at a «to-go» place where none of it was cooked and the place was nearly empty? Ok, things are slower in the suburbs… this could have been forgiven had the food been edible. The«wrap» was more of a roll-up which was not ideal for on-the-go. The wrap was just dry wrap bread, unflavored tofu, lettuce, and bland guac. Overall really disappointed.

Hearts of palm fill me. Paleo vegan friendly. Health is expensive. In the past month, I’ve visited Andy’s three times. I live in Boston. Twice while I was in visiting for a wedding the Bronx, and once while road-tripping to Florida. How I wish a place like this existed in Boston. Yeah, it’s definitely pricey(think of that $ 9 smoothie more like a meal, and not as a beverage/snack), but if you’re feeling like a lazy, gluten-free, vegan, paleo day, this is where it’s at. They have a smörgåsbord of cold salads – beans, avocados, quinoa, wild rice, cinnamon apple desserts, hummus, veg burgers, hearts of palm, the list goes on and on, and changes regularly. They have homemade juices and nut milks, young coconut, and the jumping jack smoothie is def a way you can fill up. If you’re driving from boston to dc, this is a pleasant stop just before getting into the hell that is manhattan. They also have an on-site nutritionist to answer all your question.

Really disappointed with my recent trip here. It’s the first time I’ve ever had mediocre food from Andy’s…and I’m really bummed it happened! This is still the only vegan place I know of in the area(without actually doing a google search), so I may give this place a shot again a looooong time later on down the line. Hopefully, the new people won’t offer terrible service here if I do come back and the food will be back up to the quality that I have come to expect from Andy’s. What I got today? Chia pudding was something I tried for the first time, and it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great. The cinnamon overpowered everything… which is saying a lot because I love cinnamon. The butter beans were still good, not too mushy, not too hard. The arugula salad was wilted and the mango literally fell apart when I tried to scoop it up with a fork. Essentially inedible. The sweet potato purée was good, tasted the same as usual, but how hard is it to screw that up? The spinach pies were too greasy, which is shocking because those things were always made perfectly whenever I got them over the years. My biggest complaint, though, was the girl who served me. She was too busy giggling with the other girls near her and kept asking me what I wanted. I had to shout for each thing over and over. Ok, whatever. What pissed me off? She gave huge globs of the sweet potato purée and the chia pudding, gave me three butter beans, and some sad excuse of a serving of arugula salad. Yeah, part of it is my fault because I didn’t watch her while she did it, but I never had that problem before. EVER. Usually the girls will go overboard with the servings, which could get pricey since they charge you by weight, but hey, I always got two meals out of it. The arugula was inedible and I didn’t want to eat the pudding because of all the cinnamon. So essentially, my lunch consisted of three butter beans, a few forkfuls of sweet potato purée, and a spinach pie. Twelve bucks for that crap. Guess the prices went up, or the guy at the register screwed something up. Will not be coming back for a long, long while. This is a sad, sad day.
