This crazy little concrete shed on the road to Buxton is just such a funky little eye candy kind of joint that you just have to stop to see what it is all about. Aside from a delightful treasure trove historical old Maine feel to the exterior and the antique-store interior, they sell penny candy at prices just half of what you get ripped off for in the more coastal locales(like practically any establishment in Old Orchard Beach). And ice cream from Gifford’s to boot. Gifford’s is really not half bad at that, and the portions and prices are definitely way way good! And the owner is really friendly, and local teens sell the candy, it’s that kind of Norman Rockwell kind of place. But they serve coffee from a K-cup machine, gross! They lose a star for that. Make sure to go out of your way way for the Way Way store!
