7-Eleven

This place has really gone downhill quickly due to a rude, disrespectful employee named Aman who thinks it’s ok to speak disdainfully to customers, at least, women customers with small children. I have encountered him twice now and each time he has been so rude and disrespectful that I have left the store very frustrated without purchasing anything. Until now, this was our neighborhood 7 – 11 and we spent a lot of money there because the customer service was very good (the generic 7 – 11 candy is my son’s favorite so he gets it for a special treat). No more. Even before Aman’s «reign of rudeness» I have had a lot of problems with prices on the shelves not matching what is in the computer when items are rung up. Until now, when I showed the clerks the shelf price, the clerks always adjusted them. However, Aman thinks it’s ok, apparently, to charge someone 1.99 when a product is clearly marked 1.49 on the shelf.
I will be filing a complaint with the Department of Food and Agriculture Division of Weights and Measures, which may do a spot inspection and this business could be fined thousands for a .50 error (hopefully it was just an error) Aman refused to correct. I think it’s really interesting that NO WOMEN work in this location, EVER. I suspect this individual is quite misogynistic because i have never seen him treat a man this way, only women. This could also be a civil rights complalint for this 7 – 11 if he continues to treat women badly based on gender (um, that’s illegal too).
Very disappointed in this location and will be taking my business down the street to several other 7 – 11 locations that have great customer service and don’t jack people on prices and refuse to follow the law. Oh and after I showed him the shelf price and he refused to honor it, my very respectable 60 year old friend, who is a woman, put her items down and we left the store, and he shouted an accusation that she had stolen her items. Totally unfounded retaliation for simply asking someone to follow the law of this state. This guy is a major jack$%$.
1. Illegal to charge someone a different price than that clearly marked on the shelf
2. Illegal to treat a protected class (based on gender) poorly in a public establishment like a market.
3. Slandered my friend.
Before Aman worked there, I would have given this 7 – 11 4 – 5 stars.

This 7 – 11’s coffee area stinks. I drink a lot of 7 – 11 regular brew coffee and have probably been to 50 different locations. Of all of them, this one rates towards the bottom. I have been here multiple times, so this isn’t a one off problem. The area is never completely clean, usually only 2 – 3 pots on the maker, and the coffee is never as hot as you really want it. They have a lot to improve on. Service is ehhhh!

Love this store, always neat and clean and full off stock. This store has the most tremendous customer service. Slurpee is the best thing out there. The manager whose name is Mr. Manbir Bal is very friendly and helpful kind of person.

This location compared to others superb! When I walked in I was greeted something yiou hardly get when come into a 7 11, the store was very clean (shocked!} and organized and the employees über friendly!

Standard 7 eleven, surprisingly not that ghetto.
