Very bad service with poor understanding of the two book menu
Didn’t have the food we ordered in stock
Owners just want your money and the wife of the owner was in a hurry to get paid. She tried arguing back and was not understanding at all. She circled the tip and the tip for her was to get a better business.
Took a couple hours to get simple food
Small portion sizes– plates filled with mostly ONIONS. Chicken wings were overcooked. The easiest meals were the longest to prepare. Food was cold as well. Drinks were late.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!- it’s empty for a reason and I don’t know how it’s still in business.
I regret coming to this place!

Before I rant, I wish I could give 0 stars…
I promise not to bore anyone so I’ll get straight to the point…
1. Food sucks
2. Small portions
3. Bad/​poor service
4. Takes 2 hours to make drinks (coke, shakes, egg rolls, water)
5. Runs out of food
Don’t go there unless you like the above. Stay away and let them go out of business. They do not deserve your hard earn money because they won’t do anything.
Also, we asked the waitress to turn on the TVand she says the TV is broken. Shortly after, a man appears and says, «plug in the TV» and I’ll turn it on for you. WTF!!! Felt the same way about this place. Left hand isn’t talking with right hand…

One of my fav places to get phở AND Chinese food all in one destination. Whenever my parents come down to visit here we always go to this restaurant. The people who work here and probably own the place are Chinese. They speak fluent Chinese :) which my parents liked hahah the food by the way. Wow! Huge portions for the phở and I love it! Woohoo! More for me, you know?!
Customer service was good.
Food is amazing every time I come here.
Price is very fair as well.
So yeah! Definitely recommend this place! Only negative is that it’s sort of in the ghetto. Probably not the nicest place around town but hey! I don’t mind. Good food is good food, yo!

An update review.
Services, suck as usually, always got wait at least 10 or 15 mins before the owner/​server to show up. To go food, taste disgusting and flavorless, especially the orange chicken and sweet sour pork. If any one want to order to go, dont order that, that’s Suck. I had been order food from them so often and I was so disappoint each time on the food that I had order. every time when the resturant gets a little busy, the quality of the go to food just boom, down to the bottom. Totally waste money my on here. I NEVER GONNA ORDER HERE AGAIN. TOTALLY DONE HERE!

Service here really sucks! Came here with my parents and brother and we got seated right away (lucky for us). Other people that came after us had to wait a little because there were no workers in sight.
It was really dead when we came, only about 2 other tables and our food took FOREVER to come out!!! Also our waitress had no manners at all. Never said a word to us after getting our food and never even said «you’re welcome» to us. Also she didn’t say anything to us when I literally killed a spider that was hanging from a spider web right next to my face.
Other than the service, the prices here are really reasonable and the food here isn’t bad. My brothers bun bo hue was kinda bland though according to him. My parents like to come here because there’s never a wait here and now we know why.

This place is a NIGHTMARE on Florin road. Fellow Unilocalers save yourself and do not waste your time, money, or good mood here because they will ruin it. Let me list out all the horrible things that happened during my dinner here:
1. Our waitress was no where to be found. My mothers plate was taking extremely long and when I finally saw our waitress coming out of the kitchen I caught her attention in regards to the plate. She just said it was coming and walked away.
***Please learn that: As a waiter it is your job to attend to the customers, getting water, bringing food, keeping us satisfied instead of being MIA!
2. My mom needed a refill on water and the waitress was MIA again, so here comes a busser and kindly they brought a glass of water. That was kind; however, they were not in cleaned appropriate clothing, their attire was dirty hence cleaning dishes and the tables etc. ***Again, where is the waitress or waiter? This is your duties. This was a Monday night & it was not busy at all.
3. Our food were mediocre, potions were small, house chowfun tasted burnt, rice plates were full of rice and minimal meat. **“We did not come to eat a plate full of rice and burntness. Zero stars for food!
4. Icing on the cake. I went to go pay for dinner at the cash register. This lady was the nightmare! She was very rough, took my ATM card and threw it back, ripped off the receipt for me to sign and threw it to me.
*** PLEASE LAWD I HOPE YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER BECAUSE YOU ARE A NIGHTMARE. YOU ARE VERY DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND A TOTAL BITCH. YOU NEED 40 HOURS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING, LEARN HOW TO SMILE, GET OFF YOUR DAMN IPHONE (EVER HEARD OF STOP TEXTING ON THE JOB), AND SAY «THANK YOU»!! I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOUR ACTIONS RUINED MY NIGHT. YOU ARE ONE HELL OF A NIGHTMARE.
5. IT IS CLEAR THAT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE, NO TIPS GIVEN AT ALL THANKS TO THE NIGHTMARE. I WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN.

Food is very good; portions are much better than Happy Corner Restaurant. The egg Flower soup was very good-​somewhat thick consistency, filled with yummy veggies, and at a generous portion for the price ($ 5 – 6). The eggrolls were crunchy and yummy-​filled w/​pork & veggies! Definitely worth it for the price ($ 3 – 4).
I wasn’t crazy about the Empress chicken, but I do like the soft white meat parts. It came with a special garlic and pepper dip-​very tasty btw. If you like to eat all the other parts of the chicken then you would probably appreciate it more than me.
Rice portions were fantastic-​we didn’t even finish our rice, so that’s a good sign ;)
Overall, I would come back, but I would probably order something else. Definitely give it a try!!!

My sister-​in-​laws, friends and I went in as a party of 10 for dinner. The place was pretty empty for dinner time, there were only two other couples besides us (should have been out sign right there).
So, we each ordered our own plate of dish, al carte to try and share. It took them forever to just come take our order, no one was in the front to check on us and we kept yelling out, «hello, anyone there? We’re ready to order.» And yet, no one came until 5 minutes later. It was a man in a white, greasy coat, assuming he works in the back so why would he come take our order? He spoke no English and when we asked him about a dish he just simled, like seriously?
Obviously, it took them about 30 minutes to give us our food but since it was a girls’ night we killed that 30 minutes by chatting and taking selfies. Out of the 10 dishes we ordered, 1 dish was missing and we told the waiter who finally came into view and he said, sorry he will go get it. Guess he forgot about us with only 3 parties in the place cause we never got it and we were too tire repeating ourselves so we just told him to not charge us for that dish, we did not want it anymore.
Out of the 9 dishes we got to try, only the orange chicken dish was good… we fought for it cause the others were either bland or just not tasty. Overall, it costed my sister-​in-​law 180 $ since she treated us but we all decided that we will not be coming back to this place ever again. Poor customer service and food sucks!

EEK! Never again.
My family thinks this place is great because they offer lots of dishes along with «family style» dishes that are fair priced. Yes, I agree, prices are fair, however you definitely get what you pay for!
I ordered the clams in black bean sauce and I got mostly shells and black beans. My husband got the steamed chicken served cold which the fat had already coagulated and still bloody in the middle. My sister ordered the beef chow fun which was completely bland, and our family ordered the «thai style» Tom Yum sweet and sour soup, which really was Vietnamese sweet and sour soup «canh chua» with some chili flakes. Hmm, I love canh chua, but I wanted Tom Yum.
Service is mediocre. (To be expected), but I was slightly taken aback when the server was taking our order, and apparently we were taking too long to decide, so I’m guessing he was the owner came over in almost a shouting voice trying to offer us help, but seemed more like «just order something attitude» and started shouting some suggestions at us which we weren’t interested in.
Overall experience was pretty horrid, and I definitely will not be back.

Everything is horrible and the service is terrible.
I came here twice… why…I don’t know. Someone please save me.
The first time I came here with an impromptu dinner with my family Sunday night.
The place was pretty dead less the de facto nightclub they had going on in the back room.
We were hastily prodded to order while we still didn’t know what we want. As our waiter was taking our order some other guy came over and starting talking at us. «Do you need me to recommend something? How about this? Or this? Just get this!»
Sir, I’m going to need you to drop your tone and step away from my ear.
I got the beef chow fun, and we also got «tom yum» soup and clams in black bean sauce.
The soup was the best thing except it wasn’t tom yum. It was canh chua with shrimp in it. Don’t try to fool me.
Chow fun was blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand.
Clams were the wrong taste and the sauce was super watery.
Wham.
Bam.
No thank you, ma’am.

Dont come here this place is Horrible. Poor Service. They have a hall behind the Restaurant. Good size. Thats the Only good thing I can say thats good.

This place has the WORST WORST customer service… either they forget your order or have you wait 10– 15 minutes before taking your order. …

I come here every week. Since they got this new waiter, they messed up my order. Last time we got it, it was the worst food. The waiter was rude.

Service here is terrible. Do you even realize that you are running a restaurant? I’ve been here a few time because I actually like the food served but service received is always bad. Seems like they are always understaffed. We were seated and no one came to take our order for over 20 minutes, an older couple comes in, gets seated next to us and gets service right away. I just walked out. Never coming back here again and cause it was utter disrespect for a customer. I do not recommend this place because they also do terribly on banquets.

My bf and I came to eat here and it was pretty empty. How can a place soo big be empty? He ordered thai tea and beef stew noodles while i ordered mango shake and salt and pepper calamari. His thai tea was too sweet. They put a lot of condense milk. My mango shake was nasty to the point where i couldn’t even take another sip. It was sour and the mango didn’t even seem ripe. The calamari was actually pretty good but it’s like diminishing marginal utility. Where having one bite is so delicious than the next is ok until the next which becomes tiring. The staff are actually ok however they don’t really pay attention to you, plus they look confuse like they don’t know what they’re doing.

Went here recently. This place is definitely not the same. Orange chicken was not so good and the phở was probably the worst I’ve had. I’ve never in my life have had to add soy sauce, all of the lime juice, and sriracha to make the the broth somewhat edible. So disappointing. The best thing I had here was the water. Not to mention, the place was completely empty when we went in during prime dinnertime. But, I guess they were too busy to ever check in on us even if we were the only customers there. Not sure if this place will last much longer, but I won’t be returning.

The three of us ordered a combo dinner for four. And we almost finished all. The food is really good! The sever was kind and friendly.

I had lunch with parents here. We got the lunch specials. We ordered the usual normal dishes like Mongolian Beef, Broccoli Beef and Honey Walnut Shrimp. They were pretty fast bringing the order in. (Approx 8 to 10 min). Might be less than that.
The price is reasonable and the environment is clean. The people who work here are very helpful and accomodating. I forgot to mention that the food was good. My order was the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I have to say the walnuts that were cooked in here were very crispy and perfect. Also the way the shrimp was cooked was just right. With the lunch specials, they come with a choice of steam rice/​fried rice and a soup. It seemed like the soup that was given to us was sweet and sour soup.
It was really good. Delicious!

Meh. This place has gone down since it first open a few years ago. I used to like this place a lot and then when I came back last Sunday, I was so shocked in how terrible everything tasted now. So disappointed. Never returning back to this place.
Goi Ga (chicken cabbage salad appetizer):
This is pretty good. So simple that you cant really mess it up. I don’t like how they put thin slices of red onion in this dish but luckily enough you can see and pull it out. White chicken meat is used and it tasted fresh. The fish sauce was not over powering and they did a good job in putting a variety of herbs and fried shallots to complete the dish.
Chicken phở:
Horrible. Bland. Ordered the chicken phở that was supposed to have only white meat. There was dark meat and the white meat had the chicken skin still on it too. Not a big fan of that. Tried to make the broth more flavorful with some hoisin and hot sauce but it was still a no go. Decent portion size but didn’t even bother to finish eating it because it was really not good.
Bun Rieu:
Visually this dish looked good but my friend said that it tasted really bland. It had fried tofu, pigs blood and pretty much the works but the broth was lacking flavor. They made this dish look very authentic and it was such a shame that it didn’t taste the way it looked.
Phở Tai: My friend ordered this dish and he said that his broth was flavorful and that the dish wasn’t that bad. So if you want phở then go with the beef and not chicken phở
Bo Kho Mi (beef stew with egg noodles): This dish was very flavorful. Makes me think that only the beef broth soups are the only soups that are packed in flavor. The egg noodles were cooked and tasted fresh. The beef was soft and the overall dish was not too greasy. I would recommend this dish.
Good portion size for your money but the food is just not as good as it used to be. So many other restaurants in South Sac that it is not worth coming back here.

This place should be called a&a nasty because it was disgusting. We usually come here for the chicken phở but now we aren’t going to ever come back. We came around 12ish. Party of 6. There might have been about 10 other table. It probably took about 15 – 20 minutes for someone to take our order, give us water/​tea, and our utensils. After we ordered, it took another 30 – 40 minutes for the food to come out. We all ordered phở. So I don’t understand how it could take the food that fricking long for everything to come out. And you know the kitchen is lagging when your bowl of phở is out, and your noodles is at the bottom of the bowl, all in a wad. We all tried to detangle our noodles, but all it did was break apart into bits and pieces.
We also noticed the whole time we were trying to eat, no one cleaned the tables. It seemed as if the staff was too busy doing nothing. Every table was dirty. We are definitely not going to come back.
