Arcade Creek Kennels

Our dog, Bongo, loves Arcade Creek. When he’s been at day camp he is exhausted when he gets home. He runs around in the yard with his friends. And we can leave town knowing he safe and happy spending the night.

Have been using this kennel for a couple of years now, now that we are back in Carmichael. Our 9 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Sage, loves going here. In fact, as soon as we pull up she seems to know where we are and gets so excited. It comforts me in knowing that while we are away she is having the time of her life. The people that work there seem so happy to see her too.

We absolutely love Arcade Creek Kennels. Our dog Abby gets so excited to go in for daycare and boarding. I wish I could send her to daycare 5 days a week! The staff is fabulous and love her! She comes home happily exhausted. I highly recommend them!

This place is awesome! My dogs have been going since they were pups and they LOVE the place. The staff is great, friendly and they really care for the animals. They go above and beyond with their service and care. I highly recommend them for daycare and boarding! Plus they have great prices too

We love Arcade Creek Kennels. We have a 3 year old Lab named Lucy. We take Lucy here for day care twice a week (to allow her to play with her 2 legged and furry friends while we are at work) and for boarding when we are out of town.
We appreciate that she has play times without charging extra for them.
We highly recommend that you give them a try if you need someone to care for your pet!

These folks are really nice and you can tell they really care about the animals. With their calm demeanor it feels like you can trust your pets here,
large spaces and plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play :)

This is my dog’s rating. She’s stayed here several times, and when I was bringing her in this last time, I accidentally dropped the leash. She ran up to the front door, tail wagging like her best friend is in there. So she gives it five stars. I live close by and I see the dogs playing outside during the day. Today I also saw all the individually prepared meals… Everything from dry kibble to wet with green beans added. Great place for your furry family members… Cats too.

Arcade Creek Kennels is the place to go if you want your pet to be well cared for! I spent hours doing research to find the very best place to board my little dachshund… and it was time well spent! It was difficult for me to have to board Fred, but in the future without question I know just who to call. It was very obvious to me how happy Fred had been during his stay because he didn’t want to leave. Without a doubt they are the BEST.

I’ve always been hesitant of boarding my 65 lbs pit bull mix at a kennel but finally the day came that I had no other options. This place has made me a loyal customer! I was allowed to take a tour of the grounds so that I could see exactly what conditions my best friend would be staying in. The place was clean, stench free and just like I had imagined for a boarding facility. This made me happy, plus the staff was great with my pooch and I. Oh, and the prices are reasonable too. I have now boarded my dog there twice and recommend them to others that need a little help with their furry friends!

Our family has been using this kennel for 15+ years, and after *two terrible experiences in a row*, and discussions with the manager (twice) we’ve lost faith that they are able to care properly for our furry family members. They failed to feed our animal the correct rations, and were returned to us starving. The second time, you could see the dogs backbone. No one seemed to notice nor care that the food allotted for them was not being used. They were giving an 80 lbs dog about a cup a food a day. We realize glitches happen, but after it happened the first time, we had a talk about it. Then it happened a second time. We went afterwards to discuss and review the whole process of how they manage the care. I think they staff the place with clueless people when the owners are not there (probably also explains why they can’t handle pickups on holidays) and those folks are dropping the ball. Inexplicably, even though they were apologetic, there was not even a token offer of ‘what can we do to make it right’. It’s cute that they take pictures of all their ‘guests’ and have cartoons all over the place, but in the end that’s very tangential to the core duty they are being paid to perform.
I don’t think they are able to do that properly any more.
So after 15 years, we’re finding a new kennel. Perhaps others will have different/​better experiences but I’m not taking any more chances.

I love Arcade Creek Kennels. My reasons are simply.
It’s the one place I know (other than my own home)
where my Pal, is safe. Where he can socialize with other dogs. He’s not confined inside a builting, but can
run outside all day if he wants. He gets plenty of exercise, so at the end of the day, he’s ready to sleep when he gets home. Rather than wanting to exercise me. From the time I drop him off in the morning, to when I pick-​up in the evening I know he’s been well
taking of. The clearest sign that my dog enjoys
his stay at Arcade, he doesn’t wants to go home.
The new owners of Arcade, have been putting in a lot
of improvement. The play yard for the dogs, has never looked better. And there are actual handlers among the dogs, to ensure no one is over looked.
I really do love Arcade Creek Kennels. It’s the
only place I can count on to take good care my
Boy. Paladin.

We have been bringing our dogs here for yeeeeears (since it was Creekside). My dogs loved it then and love it even more now! The new owners/​management have really stepped up the quality and care. It is clear they take pride in their investment. The staff is great and the prices are reasonable for grooming and boarding.

The people here are wonderful. My dog has been to doggie day care before but never boarded overnight and is kind of a «mama’s boy» so I was nervous about leaving him but I quickly felt better after meeting the warm, caring staff and seeing that every dog gets his own kennel. Plus, they let me bring his crate which is huge because he’s never slept in anything else his whole life and would likely panic without it. I felt like they were very accomodating and truly care about your pets comfort while there. Also, they washed his blankets before I picked him up which I felt was really above and beyond. Super sweet people and great facility. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my Australian Cattle dog
here for years now and they have always welcomed her when she came like happy to see a old friend and felt like I was taking one of their best friends away from their play time whenever we left. She always seemed excited to go. I would totally recommend this boarding place there prices are very very good in comparison to other places. The place is also very clean too.

Love this place. Makes my dog feel like family. Beautiful big grass yard to play in. Loved it
