Backyard Pools

Backyard Pools is awesome! My family and I decided to have another round with are above ground pool but found most people in the area I would not service it or even make recommendations. Drove past this place and saw that they had above ground pools displayed, which sparked my interest. Thanks Julie I have a way more efficient pump, full vacuum and a lot more time to enjoy it my pool.
If you ever decide to go with an above ground pool definitely stop here first they know their stuff

Wow… It keeps getting worse! I cannot stress this enough… DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! THIS IS MY OPINION AND YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CHANCES IF YOU WANT TO. My pool was not installed properly and has since collapsed. I called another license doughboy specialist to make the repairs and he was outraged and disgusted by what was done. Without a word from me regarding BYP or their recommended installers he noticed that my pool was not centered or straight. He said that the pool was placed to deep into the ground and when the heavy winter rains would come, the result would have been the same. I called BYP and spoke to the owner Lynn, who still was no help and was just as rude as she wanted to be. She that she would contact me back after speaking with the installers. She sent a letter instead saying that she was not offering any refund, pool liner or any responsibility whatsoever. She also said that we were told to use a slurry cement mix and not dirt but we refused. That is a lie! We weren’t told of that mix until the specialist came. They are all liars! She specifically told me that the back-​fill was dirt and how to put it in the ground because the installers left without doing it (per my first complaint). I am so done with this company. What goes around comes back around and Ms Lynn, yours hopefully will come around quick. You can’t run a business stealing from hard working people!

We wanted a refund not an exchange so my wife was not pleased when she left. She only was provided one option and that was only after a battle. After driving out there three times to address this tree we just didn’t want another tree. Once we broke down our Christmas decorations the earliest we could get back out there was the latter part of January.
We usually come by every year and buy things for the holidays however after this experience we won’t be back. As I said, the older lady was just outright rude! Small businesses like yours need to take care of the customers that buy from you to ensure they come back. We were made to feel like we were trying to take advantage of you and it is obvious after three times and the lights continually not working it was a defective item. Now when we open up the tree next year that we were forced to take versus a refund, if we have problems I am sure we will be treated as if we are somehow trying to take advantage of your business if there is a problem. Stand by your products and take care of your customers!

This is a great family run business. They have some the best prices on pool supplies and the customer service is the best. I was in the store last night and the owner remembered my name and the other customer at the counter. Without looking in any records, she knew which individual pool (model, year, size, number of gallons in the pool) each of us had and made recommendations on the item we were both purchasing. I always buy my DE from them. It’s normally 30−50% less than the L store or the big box warehouse stores.
