We love to come here. We never leave empty handed. They always have a section of books on sale at a real low price. However, this last time we were there we had a bad experience with an employee. The minute we walked in the door we received an attitude from Katie. It seemed every time I looked toward the counter she had a look of disgust on her face. Umm we are in a Christian book store lady how about showing God’s love or letting your light shine. I mean yes, we all have our bad days but considering the place you are in and you are an employee, you need to fake a smile for your customers. This goes for any place of business. As we were checking out she asked if we wanted to sign up for the rewards card and we asked a simple question and she replied with a horrible attitude. She was huffing and completely letting us know that we were a burden. Umm you chose to work here and deal with people all day so some kind of help would be nice. I work with people all day long and of course have bad days or get frustrated but you shouldn’t let your customers see that. Just my opinion. It was not a good experience at all. My husband even commented on her behavior and he doesn’t usually comment on these things. Love the store though!

It’s the only Berean I’ve gone to, but love this store. They have everything in a very relaxing atmosphere for shopping. The staff are helpful and friendly. I love the kids section and the CD area. I get there as often as I can instead of ordering aniline.

First let me say that I am not a «Christian». I accompanied a friend to this store. However I have to say that for an enthusiastic and active Christian this seems like the place to get most anything other than the«holy grail» for your faith. There are books,(not just bibles), music, clothing, jewelry, gifts and even those kinda creepy puppets. There was even a small Jewish section. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only question I have is, Why do they lock some of the jewelrey up? I wouldn’t think that Christians would be stealing from their fellow Christians, or at all for that matter. Needless to say, this place seems like a great place to go for most of your Christian needs. But I don’t think that it passes for mass.
