Just tried to make an appointment and found that the business has closed. The message on the machine states that the stylists will be contacting their customers and I am hopeful that I will hear from someone in the near future as I need a haircut.

They picked me up for free in a Lincoln towncar. I was greeted at the door with an offer of beer, water, or soda. Then I received a tremendous haircut and head massage by Anne. The place has an ATM, pool table, leather chairs and tvs. A truly great experience from start to finish and well worth $ 40. Plus I got a great haircut. I’ll become a regular for sure.

Went in for first time. Was Great. immediately offered a cool beverage on this hot day. I came out with one of the best haircuts I ever had, from Tina. had a fantastic head massage and facial towel. then an unbelievable shaving experience from Paul, the owner. More of an out of body, epicurean experience than anything else. three shaves, three towelings and some amazing treatment. Not only will I only get haircuts there now, I will be sending other people as well.

This visit was my third and it was the best so far. I made the appointment on the day of and was able to get in at the exact time I wanted. I was greeted at the door and offered any drink of my choice. Summer greeted me and immediately took me back to begin the hair cutting process. She was very friendly and genuine, seemed very interested in our conversation, which was great since I sometimes feel like the awkward haircut conversation can make the experience fairly uncomfortable on both sides. I will definitely be back for a fourth time and hopefully at a time that Summer is available. Great experience.

It has been a good while since I have had a good haircut in Sacramento. I have had my fair share of inexpensive and poorly done cuts — my own fault for trying to find somewhere cheap.
I heard from a friend of a friend about Blade. The price was reasonable and I figured if I pay a little more and get it done right I will not worry as much.
I was blown away. The stylist — who is their creative director — Gayleen — was amazing. Perfect haircut, perfect amount of time spent on getting to know what I wanted and how I wanted my hair to look when we were finished.
The scalp massage and the hot towel were HUGE bonus points for me.
I will not be looking any further for a new barber in Sacramento, and will recommend all my friends to this fine establishment in the future.

Had a head and face shave today by Paul and it was very good. It took 2 hours total. I was treated to a chair massage while I waited for my appointment and then Paul explained the whole procedure. The whole time I was relaxed and treated very well. The head shave was amazing. I received a scalp massage in between shaves. The face shave was good but could have been closer. It may be my beard growth though, Paul used a straight edge for both shaves. I will be back for a head shave and massage soon.

I’ve been shaving for 10 years and it wasn’t until I met the staff at Blade that I realized the Art of Shaving and manly self care. If you’re a man with a passion for self-​care and looking your best, then Blade is the place for you. I took advantage of their massage, facial, and shave package and the excellent customer service was present throughout each encounter. As I sat there listening to Sinatra and admiring the pool table, I started with a shave, where Paul walked me through the strategies for a successful shave and taking care of your face. He was not only patient with my questions, but he gave me customized advice about the grain of my facial hair and which products to use and stay away from. After my lunch snack, my massage and sports aromatherapy facial soon followed, where I slept like a baby. The overall experience here was excellent and it’s no wonder why so many VIPs come here for that old school shave and pampering. I definitely recommend a visit to Blade to any man getting married, going to prom, or just simply wanting to feel good about themselves!

I am a big fan of second chances and I am glad I went back on a workday afternoon for a haircut because it turned into an experience. First, my barber (and this guy was a barber, not some froufrou stylist) did an amazing job trimming up my mess of curls on the top of my head and even cleaned up my neck and the spots around my ears with straight blade (I didn’t even think this was legal in California). Second, the barber gave me this Lil teaser of a shoulder massage with one of those vibrating doohickeys and I wanted more, so I asked the nice girl up front if I could get a 25 minute chair massage. She said sure, but then the owner came out and asked me if Id prefer a 30 minute table massage at the same price. Now, I am NOT stupid, so of course I said yes. This was the best decision I could have made because their therapist was not only attractive, but very good at what she was doing. I am glad i went back and I plan to go back much more often.
