I was facing six misdemeanors in Napa County for guiding a hunt without a Guide’s License. Not a pretty situation.
The public defender from Napa County appointed to me seemed very professional and trustworthy. After only one court appearance, though, I realized he wasn’t the kind of representation I needed.
” Look man, you committed a hunting crime in one of the most liberal counties in California. The DA wants to put you in jail for six months. If you plea to all six counts, she is willing to settle for three months in jail,” he told me.
After almost fainting, I asked if he thought it would benefit me to hire an attorney.
He responded «What do you think I am?»
I told him that I needed a little time to think about it. On the two hour drive home, all I could think about was sitting in jail for three months, and all of the repercussions to follow.
At that point I called a close friend, who had just successfully contested a DUI. I asked him for the contact info for his attorney.

If you are jobless, their services can be free. However, if you are employed, you will pay about as much with a public defender as you would hiring a private practice attorney – with just a fraction of the dedication and tenacity of a private practice lawyer like J.P. and the rest of Brennan Defense team.
My advice: if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing representation in a court room, call Brennan Defense. They are the most aggressive defense team in the state and they will achieve the best possible outcome for your situation.

What can I say. Mr. Brennan was such a hero to me. I called in a very critical time of need, and he pulled through and did me a favor. I cannot thank him enough, because in a time when no one could give me answers, he gave me answers… calmed me down and took his own time to help me.
