I love the friendly staff(especially Miss Elizabeth) and the Sassy Oh Baking Co sweet treats are to die for. I can’t get enough of her Chocolate Chip Rosemary muffins, Spicy Peanut Cookie and $ 3 chickpea sandwich

I specifically came here to say I absolutely love Elizabeth! She is the sweetest most attentive barista out there! I remember her from Starbucks a couple years ago and after she left I always heard people asking where she was, she’s def a customer favorite wherever she works. Elizabeth always makes you feel welcome, she goes above and beyond for the customers and makes you want to stop drinking coffee anywhere she isn’t working. Today was my first time at Broadway coffee, not only was Elizabeth wonderful but the atmosphere was pretty rad and laid back, my scone and coffee were delish… I will definitely be a regular from now on!

I love their coffee, the ambiance, the friendly staff, and the yummy food. The owner is very nice from my first visit, and every visit. He welcomes everyone. The staff is really great. I can’t stress that enough. Much better than the rip off coffee spots nearby!

I sure love this place! The scone I got was SOOO good! I was so glad we went here because it was a fun place to sit for a while and sip on some yummy Temple coffee! I can’t wait to see this place grow. It is already so wonderful and I see this place really taking off! I will be coming back again and again!

It’s amazing to me that a business can so quickly find their legs and become a success only a few months after opening. Broadway Coffee is one of those places that immediately ‘feels right’ and knows exactly what they’re about: wonderful(Temple!) coffee made to order, incredible pastries and desserts and an overwhelming sense of welcome and care for their customers. The owner, Jimmy(I only know his name because happily introduced himself to me), has created the shop with a rare balance of enthusiasm, friendliness, professionalism, and hard work. He seems to truly care about each of his customers as individuals and the neighborhood community as a whole. This attitude is shared by all of the employees I’ve met there, as well. As mentioned before, the coffee is Temple, so there is no issue with quality of bean or roast. Each cup is made to your exact request… I’ve ordered several different methods of preparation and each has been nailed… Extra shots, added raw sugar, hotter, cooler, etc. The desserts are provided by Desserts By Vesela, a local executive pastry shop, and are absolutely heavenly. Seriously, have a cannoli or a slice of blueberry citrus bundt cake with your coffee… You’ll thank me later! The building is easy to drop by on the way to mid/downtown and the freeway. Inside is clean, new and the walls are covered in art from local artists. I’ve also stumbled into some of their live music nights, as well! All in all, I prefer BC to Old Soul and to any other coffee place in the area. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful little coffee shop with nice service and tasty coffee. Menu isn’t packed full of everything like some other cafes, rather they focus on some coffee favorites(~12) and some delicious pastries. I’m having a Rosemary choc chip muffin now that is perfect with their temple drip coffee. If you like the higher end coffee in Sacramento, that’s a good reason to give Broadway coffee a try. It’ll be faster than the other big names with the same delicious product. Atmosphere is clean and simple, with 6 tables and a bar for chatting or reading. I’m usually a purveyor of temple, insight, and weatherstone, but this has been a nice change that I started including once a week or so. Quiet enough to focus, but enough going on to stay stimulated.

I called to ask if it had dark roast coffee. They said yes. When I arrived I discovered they are simply another outlet for Temple coffee. While Temple is not BAD coffee, it simply is not the dark roast that I prefer. It was a rainy day so I stayed. I drank half the coffee and ate half the scone, then went to Tiferet to get what I really wanted. I had hoped there was another coffee shop that hadn’t bought into the light roast trend. I was wrong.

Temple roasted coffee minus the temple chatty atmosphere… Yes! Broadway coffee is just minutes away from my house which is nice and the staff is very personable! I even got a free red velvet cupcake that was delicious. Support local coffee & business!

5 stars for the genuine employees who are super friendly. The chai tea latte is wonderful too.

Confused by this place. It’s a sparse interior — white walls and a few tables with no cushioned areas to chill. So it would seem to be an in-and-out kind of coffee place, but parking’s a pain and it’s on the wrong side of the street for most commuters headed into downtown. Nothing struck me as particularly wrong or bad about this place, but, for me, it contained no aspect that would make me a repeat customer. I do like the signage on the side of the building. It promotes an edgy/urban vibe which, sadly, the actual space does not reinforce.

Coffee is needed to function. And here I can function nicely. No frills coffee house menu with excellent prices. Mochas, lattes, macchiatos, etc. Done very well with Temple coffee. Baristas are friendly, something you want to see early in the morning. Tasty pastries in the case, mmmmmm cookies. Décor is local art, available for purchase(naturally). I love the gift exchange box. I took the sunglasses and left an unopened tin of Unilocal mints. If you get them, those are totally me. They also have a library book exchange as well. Love that. Will have to bring a book and do that too. A nice addition to the Oak Park coffee scene, I hope they stick around, they’re becoming a big favorite.

Awesome customer service!!! I walked in to be greeted by 2 great people. Jimmy & Carmen. They’ve been open for 6 weeks and have already won me over. As soon as I walked in Jimmy was personable & friendly, gave me a high 5 because of my shirt(Raiders!!!). Anyways the place definitely fits into Oak Park, you walk into a tiny door and have fresh pastries to your right. It’s a large space with a ton of potential. I ordered a Soy Iced White Mocha. Met a nice guy while in there, we discussed the art while I waited for my coffee(I ordered the large). Vibe in this place was welcoming. Love my coffee & I will be back. Thankful that I checked this place out. ***Would love to see some color, a couch & some chairs, coffee table maybe.

I’ve driven past this place a few times and finally had the opportunity to stop by this morning. I got a large mocha and a rosemary chocolate muffin. The mocha was delicious. The muffin was good with nice big chunks of chocolate in it. But the rosemary flavor was a bit strong for me. Very friendly staff and clean inside. Lots of artwork from local artist’s. I will be stopping by again when we run out of our own coffee.

A brand new coffee shop in Oak Park run by super nice folks, it was great to see them serving up Temple’s blends via drip and espresso. That being said, the interior could use a bit more personality and color. Additionally, some pour over offerings would be much appreciated as well given that Old Soul down the street and all the other coffee bars around the area do the same and beyond.

My husband and I are looking to move into the Oak park area. We were on a scouting mission and needed wifi so we stopped in to Broadway Coffee. The staff was friendly and even gave us info on the neighborhood. We will definitely return! But I do agree a bit more personality inside would be great :) We are excited to make oak park our new home!

This is a great community based coffee shop that recently opened in Sacramento’s Oak Park community. Friendly people all around, great coffee and a cool new hangout spot! Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighborhood!
