My god… I have never waited this long for anything. I have had to turn down so many security jobs totaling to at least three thousand dollars worth of cash thanks to the BSIS. I sent my security guard and exposed firearms applications months ago and then I receive a letter stating that there is something wrong with my application and that the forum was «outdated». Now I have to get a certificate and fill out another forum and send it back to the BSIS and wonder what year I will receive my guard and exposed firearm certificates. Calling BSIS 10 times a day doesn’t work much either, you will talk with a machine half the time and when they do transfer you to a rep you are on hold for 30 minutes and thats if you are lucky. Most of the time the machine will just hang up on you and tell you that they are experiencing a high rate of calls and to call back later… goodbye. If you do talk to a rep they will give you vague responses to why you are being delayed, getting a clear answer is just not possible at BSIS. Well it is run by the government so I shouldn’t be too shocked but what they hell are they doing over there?! maybe once Im six feet under I will finally get my guard card.
