Cal Expo Towing

Extremley unprofessional personnel. Blocks the street for no reson then has gall to tell you to go around. This was not an emergency tow it was simple pickup of a mobile vehicle. He just didn’t want to pull up 10 feet to let traffic through. Not really suprised by his unprofessional attitude as he has the looks to match. I will tell eveyone I know to never use this company. Just ridiculous behavior form a business that should be focused on saftey and service. Wouldn’t trust them to give me a jump let alone transport any of my property. Their drivers don’t seem to have the mental capacity to make even the most baisc decisions.

This is not a good company to do business with, the driver took over an hour to get to me, they gave him the wrong directions I had to explain in multiple phone calls where I was located. When he FINALLY got there he told me he couldn’t tow my vehicle because the way it was parked, I told him all he had to do was turn his tow truck around and back up. Instead of attempting to do his JOB, he told me I would have to call them back once I moved the car (which I couldn’t do with two busted tires) or call a different company, because (& I quote) «its the end of the day, I’m not dealing with this, find someone else». I called this company back to complain about their employee and the guy who answered the phone cut me off, was VERY rude and defensive and also told me to find someone else. I will never do business with them again and if you’re thinking about it good luck I hope your experience is much better and not a waste of your time like it was mine!

I do not recommend this company due to poor customer service.
When exiting a freeway, a tow truck with this company’s name and number merged without a signal when there was not enough room for the large vehicle to enter the space. This can be extremely scary for a small sedan. I called the company to let them know what had happened. I felt this was important as this truck and driver are representatives of their company which provides an important service and the action was unsafe.
When calling, the driver answered the phone and was very defensive about his actions. Because he was too belligerent to hear, I asked for a supervisor and he said in a snarky manner, «I’m the owner. How’s that?»
I do not believe a company that does not make safety and courtesy a priority is deserving of my business.
